I can think of a lot more than 10 things microsoft would have to change in order to make me want to buy a 360. sure the ps3 has problems and the bad news often outwiegs the good. but is fundamentaly a better system than anything else on the market in terms of hardware and potential.
this is NOT a big deal. so initially a lot of ps2 games wont work on your ps3? this will probably be resolved through updates over time besides which, if your going to spend £400 on a ps3 then it shouldn't be too much pain to pay an extra £50 for a new ps2 - that is IF it turns out you can't play a bunch of your old games AND you've already gotten rid of your ps2. if you still love ps2 then it stands to reason that you'll hang on to the console (if not only so that you can still play guitar hero ii). personally, i haven't bought a ps2 game since i started saving for the ps3 (except for ffxii of course) and any title i look at just leems too last gen. there are plenty of good titles launching with the ps3. oblivion alone will last you 100+ hrs. i still have my psone and ps2 set up on my room and am lokking forward to adding a shiny new spider man font emblazened system to my collection on march 23rd.
