Just a heads up, double exp points this weekend. I find Headquarters the best game type to level up quickly.
Good luck out their soldier. Mind those grenades there's like 500 billion of them and they even drop out of dead guys butts. There has never been a war like this.
I have always preffered developers such as Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Square, and they are mostly console game devs. So yeah, you're opinion that PC is better is just that, your opinion. I still think consoles win everytime. Even hardcore PC devs like Epic have said they're moving more towards console development in the future. I'm not going to debate with hermits, they need to validate their expensive purchases on a almost daily basis by making topics like this.
I prefer console games over PC games, always will. It's been that way for 20+ years, having a opinion on something doesn't make it fact, remember that next time you create a new topic. That goes for all you hermits.
It's cool to hate things that are popular, truth is Gears of war is a damn good game in single player, Co-op and especially multiplayer. It has some of the best graphics and sound ever in a game, very solid controls, shooting mechanics and action sequences. There is nothing dated about Gears of war at all, so much so that Capcom are porting it's control scheme into RE5.
I could also list a lot of things that make Halo 3 very good but I can't be bothered, there will always be people jumping on the hate train for these good games, they sell 5+ million and score in the high 90% range, opinions on games like this don't mean ****, there will be sequels for years to come, and odds are they will be awesome.
For me it's Call Of Duty4, I expect Gears of war 2 to be my favourite in a few months though. Other games of note
Dead Rising, Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise, Gears of war, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, Mass effect, Ninja Gaiden 2, Soul Calibur IV, GTA IV, Orange Box, Condemned 1+2, Crackdown, Bioshock,
and coming soon, Fallout 3, Gears 2, Fable 2, Banjoe Nuts and bolts, Left 4 dead.
For those interested in the game here is a hands on from Eurogamer posted today, it's very positive

Co-op sounds like a blast, I can't wait for this.
