For starters it is my thesis that Kobe is more skilled then Micheal Jordan. I believe Kobe is fundamentally better then MJ as John Lucas and Phil Jackson have pointed out. In his impressive arsenal he has attained mastery over a great deal of offensive weapons such as the pull up jumper, fade away, dunk, punk fake, spin move, and the off the glass move to name a few. Not to mention his ball handling and shooting are firmly superior to Jordan's.
Kobe has also been nameto various defensive teams, at one time being runner up for defensive player of the year. This is in an era where the defender can't even put their elbows on the player. Jordan at around 1995 stop being the best defensive player on his team and the tough defensive assignments were assigned to either Pippen or Harper, yet despite this they still kept giving Jordan 1st defensive teams.
kobe has also had the displeasure of playing against Zone defenses considered illegal in Jordan's tenure. I personally find more physical defenses easier then double teams with or without the ball. Add to that was that Jordan got massive star treatment that inflated his scoring. The Jordan faction likes to point out Jordan's MVP awards. But they neglect to mention that Jordan's team won 55 times without him, that's two less wins then they had with Jordan the previous season. In addition Pippen's and Horace Grant's points per games and field goal percentages went up despite having defenses centered on stopping them when Jordan first retired. seems like Jordan's value was overated.
The Jordan camp also like to point at Jordan's excessive ring count. Jordan was unable to get a ring during the 80's so he got them during the 90's. This was a time when the league had been weakened by new expansion teams trying to build good rosters and helping to disperse goodplayers (this problemwas later alleviated by foreign players). Moreover is that the three point line was shortened from 1995-1997 which no doubt helped a perimeter based team like the bulls.
Jordanaires talk about Kobe's lower career PPG but if adjusted for points per 48 mins(because Kobe did not get good minutes until around his 4th season)Kobe is not too far from micheal and that's without his career being over.Statisticly Shaq has served at a detriment to Kobe's career-since shaq's departure kobe has scored more points, and won an MVP. Shaq being how he is would have undoubtedly reduced MJ's stats, hell tex winter doesn't believe MJ and Shaq could have coexisted. Lastly despite being ostracize a lot Kobe has come a long way and has earned everything he has (see 1988 dunk contest).

"The European Union, facing a trade complaint by the U.S., Japan and Taiwan over tariffs on imported electronic equipment, will propose expanding the list of such products exempt from customs duties. "
Well since taxes seem to be one of the reasons Europe has higher prices, if the EU keeps heading this direction European gamers could see lower gaming prices. :)

this should spice up SW and their sales gurus.
I am starting to notice EA's quality rising they are publishing games like Battlefield 3, NBA live 09, Tiberium, Dragon age, Army of Two, Sims 3, and more. But then again maybe i am just hoping that their quality rises.
Soon i will engage in my first beta testing ever! I willl be testing Endwars and, unfortunetly i am not allowed to talk about it. I had no idea registaring was so easy. Endwar is actually one of my GOTY contenders on my personal list. I cant wait for it to start i am so hyped.
