Some Housekeeping
- This list is basically a way for me to keep track of titles coming out with some additional context so that I can actually remember why I gave a damn at some point
- No order
- I will be turning my PS4 into my indie box, as well as the location where I buy multi-platform titles. If you want to do that on some other machine (e.g. PC, X1), than go right ahead
Indie (or Indie in spirit)

Why I gave a damn
Puzzle platformer with a unique aesthetic. Puzzle mechanics related to light and shadow.
Child of Light
Why I gave a damn
Limbo... Final Fantasy VI... sold. Also interesting to see this being worked on by a AAA developer. Here is a good article, which contains another article, showing the game in action. Really like the Grandia inspired battle system.

Why I gave a damn
Side-scrolling Borderlands. Kickstarted.
Rime
Why I gave a damn
There are too few awesome looking action adventure titles that are in the same vein as Legend of Zelda. Here is the trailer, teases enough to get me excited.
Rogue Legacy
Why I gave a damn
This is already available else where, I would recommend watching Giant Bomb's quick look or this other stream they did.
Transistor

Why I gave a damn
Supergiant Games. Next game since Bastion. This seems like reason enough for me.
Starbound

Why I gave a damn
It essentially looks like Terraria with a lot more game mechanics. I liked Terraria so it seems higly likely I will enjoy this title as well.

Why I gave a damn
A JRPG with this kind of talent, how could I not be interested to some degree?
Everyone's Gone to the Rapture
The Witness
Don't Starve
Soul Saga (KS)
Liege (KS)
Valiant Hearts
Pavilion
Why I gave a damn
Don't know a lot about the gameplay so this could get removed, but the artistic approach looks top notch.
Wish List of Indie Titles for PS4
- Massive Chalice - Pitched as a Final Fantasy Tactics mixed with XCOM
- A Hat in Time - N64 style platformer
- Legend of Iya - Metroidvania title funded on Kickstarter
- Pier Solar HD - A modern 16bit RPG
- Chasm - Metroidvania title funded on Kickstarter
- Mighty No. 9 - Might as well call it Megaman
- Blood of the Werewolf - Metroidvania title, if you can't tell I like this genre
- Incognita - Klei's XCOM with heavy focus on stealth. Plus Klei always giving their games a neat look
