Please note that I am completely new to the PS3 - I just ordered one a couple days ago, but I've had nothing but trouble since.

First time I hooked it up, I got no picture. After repeatedly trying, I came to the conclusion that it was a bad AV jack. This is not the case, as I have since gotten picture on the rare occasions that it functions.

- When I got to the menu, there was no initial setup, there was already an account made by "Jinsun". I do not know if this is a default account with the new MGS4 80-Gig Bundle, which is what I bought, or if this is not so new after all.

- Constant freezing. The reason I got no picture was because it keeps freezing. Sometimes it won't even make it to the menu, sometimes it freezes at the menu.

- I have tried doing the system update, but it freezes before it gets anywhere.

- I have been able to get MGS3 working and God of War 2 working a couple of times, and it stays unfrozen until I shut it off. When I turn it back on, it's freezing again.

- MGS4 does not work. I made it to the opening cutscene of the game, and I am faced with freezing.

This is a brand new system, freshly ordered from gamestop.com. I don't want to get it exchanged or serviced if there's something I'm not doing correctly. I've checked the knowledge base and the FAQ on the main website, but I have not found anything very useful.

I would appreciate if anyone has any insight on if there's something I haven't done/need to do, or if someone can tell me emphatically that it needs serviced.

For the ten billionth time, BioWare has said they will not be making any more KOTOR games - KOTOR 2 was completed by Obsidian - it depends on what they are doing and or what they want to do. LucasArts will have to promise BW not to pound on them and rush them if BioWare would ever decide to come back to the project. I'm sure it will be like other trilogy's, the first one comes out, and immediately the next one starts production.

Watch for Obsidian, not BW for KOTOR 3.

I haven't gotten an email from Gamestop.com which is where I do all my video game shopping. But I guess I'll find out tomorrow if it's been delayed or not.
