Resident Evil 5 is NOT coming out this year.

I would have to say either Dead Space or Dead Island. I'm hoping Dead Island, that game has so much potential.

Horror movies need more than a wannabe creepy atmosphere with crap characters no one cares about, with the same 4 cheap scare tactics being played out over and over the entire movie before amounted to an entirely useless ending that makes you wonder what the previous 75 minutes were even for, because they certainly weren't worth this little crap.

in the case of the stangers I dont see predictable as a bad thing, it was easy to tell what would happen to the couple but in this case I dont see it as a bad thing.

Why didn't you see it as a bad thing? Just curious. The movie was entertaining, it's not something I'd pay to see in the theatre again, but I would probably watch it again. I guess it just looked more creepy/scary/thrilling than it actually was and I was just let down by it.

Dude, the previews have been all indicating that it's going to have a twist ending. Look at the tone of them, it'll be something stupid, like the internet is eating cheese and farting suicidal intentions or something.

I was taking your comment serously until I realized you were the one who thought Strangers was a great movie. Seriously though, you really can't tell much from the preview. If that was the case, I would have steered clear of the garbage that is called Strangers.

"The Happening" is M. Night Shyamalan, who has directed such incredible films as Lady In The Water and Unbreakable...couldn't we switch the Uwe Boll petition to prevent M Night from making films?

Also, The Strangers is an old school horror movie, it's tense and terrifying, literally, the theatre I was in, people where accidentally throwing their popcorn due to the jumpy scares.

M Night doesn't have the best track record. But I have really enjoyed some of his movies, and have high hopes for The Happening.

Strangers was based off of true events, and that was the only thing tense and terrifying about it. Everyone in the theatre I was in was jumping and yelling during the parts where the strangers would suddenly appear, but it was set up so you could see them prior to being scared. It was tense in the beginning, but I was laughing in the end. The movie was entirely predictable.
