Actually, you have to buy an account, which costs $30. And if your going to try Guild Wars, don't get Prophecies! (that one stinks lol), get Factions ($40 I think) if you like PvP and doing stuff with people or Nightfall (which has a very long story line and it costs $40 as well) if you like roleplaying.

The four I would ask for first are all in development: Warhammer 40K, Firefly, World of Darkness and Stargate SG1.

Well I just got WoW like almost a week after the 2.4 patch was released, so I really don't know what it was like before it was out or not. I play on a private server called WoWscape and the latency is HORRIBLE and I lag every now and then too. Some people in-game were saying that once the 2.4 patch was released, the server got very laggy, and I think I remember them saying that WoWscape was the only private server that has applied the 2.4 patch so far or something like that, not quite sure O.o ....

But yeah. It could be possible that the 2.4 patch is causing more lag...
