I'm not feeling this game at all. I'm not going to finish it. Same vibe as all the other MGS games except I liked the ACiD series a lot; the load times are abyssmal though, which I find odd that they didn't take points off in the reviews because of it. The story presentation is mediocre at best, and I can imagine why Halo got outstanding marks and this game got good marks. Although the story is interesting, it is not...captivating. It's slow, linear and painfully monotonous. The style in which it is told is also pretty maddening.

The gameplay is old. No other way to put it. It's just old, used and needed to be redone to break the AAA department in a series which has been running for 20 years. I'm just not impressed by, it seems more like a chore to play the game if you are going for the story, and if you don't like the story...there is nothing this game does better than other Stealth action games.
