Actually my CPU is Intel and i am having problems. And when i applied the patch, it messed up the graphics driver, turning all of games around 15 FPS: had to reinstall it. Or maybe there is a problem with my latest Nvidia update and it needs a patch? I don't know.
Couldn't help but to get in the convo and rant a bit: This game has serious issues. I have an E8200 CPU, higher than the recommended CPU, a GT240 Nvidia card, which is close to the 8800GT, and 3.5GB RAM, and still while i am playing at around 50 FPS, i get drops between 10 & 15 while playing. It's plain stupidity. Why would a game run very smoothly on everything maxed up, and its FPS randomly drops in some turns or in a punch of nitrous? It makes the game unplayable. I could say with confidence that this game seriously needs a patch, and i decided not to play it until there is one. And If i didn't have a patch, then i will unregrettably sell it.
