They took Fallout 3 and gave fans almost everything they could have hoped for. Better fps gameplay (so you don't have to use VATS all the time), crafting system and building settlements (so all the crap you collect is actually useful) and a bigger, more beautiful and more 'alive' game world. Nothing in this world is perfect in every way, so stop whining.

And yeah they took an old game engine, I also would have preferred a new next gen engine. But graphics (for me) are not about highest number of polygons and most grass and trees. It's, especially in Fallout, about environment. Often I was just enjoying the view in Fallout, even though the graphics were crappy. And since they upgraded the look of the environment with better lighting and weather effects, this is gonna be an even more immersive world.
