CoD1 in itself does not have a very big community, however if you buy the expansion pack (CoD:United offensive) i know it still has TONS of people online. an amazing game too, it's a classic.

Play S&D. I'm lvl 55(Maxed) and i got there really fast by just playing SD...I could average around 2000xp per map so it was really easy. Also, don't be an idiot and rush into the battle...you need at least a little strategy...also known as camping :D

And back up your stat files because there's a bug gonig around that erases them.

[QUOTE="Buffalo_Soulja"]

Casual Gaming. That's where the market's at.

"PC gamers see themselves as the elite gamers" This I do not agree with though, or at least aren't the only ones who would think that.

mrbojangles25

See, I do agree with that. Thats not to say there are no casual PC gamers, but to most of us (especially those of us that post on gaming forums!) actually care about gaming. It means something to us, and its a part of who we are.

Took the words straight out of my mouth bojangles.

95% of the PC gamers i know care about gaming and love it. for us it's not just a hobby, it's a lifestyle, as pathetic as that might sound.

Listen, I played HL only a LITTLE, so what I'm asking is: IS THE STORY GOOD?

Darth_Kane

I'ts not so much that the story is good (because it's very straightforward) , It's just that the Half-Life UNIVERSE is amazing once you start to get into it.

I think CoD4 iscoming too fast after Cod 3 and I feel like a cow when I am opening my wallet for a game that has been in making for about 1 year. And since the sp is only about 6 hours longs,I rather give my "milk" to some other games with more interesting sp: Witcher, Culpa Innata, Orange box....

Franko_3

Do some research before opening your mouth again, please.

CoD3 wasn't made by the same people as cod1, 2, or 4. CoD4 has been in the works ever since CoD2 was released.

I do, however agree that the sp is too short...I personally am buying CoD4 for the mp.

It's better than spray'n'pray. Ihate the noobs that just run around and shoot at anything that moves.
