It's already been mensioned i guess but Devil may cry on hard is near impossible, and Devil may cry 3 on Dante must die mode is much the same. Onimusha 2 on hard is pretty challenging too, anyone else noticing a pattern with capcom here?
I have to say my favourite is actually Tidus, I think he is a pretty interesting guy who actually deals pretty well with a complete and dangerous change of lifestyle. On the minor side of things I like his fighting style.

If you have one of the earliest ones you might be expecting a shorter lifetime, but to be honest most of the bugged ones will have crashed by now. In theory the system should keep going for a long time provided you don't wreck it. Controllers on the other hand just wear out, but how long they last will just depend on how much you use them.
