Just by the amount of responses to this topic shows the massive interest in this game. Come on Square-Enix and please remake it (final fantasy VII) for the next gen consoles.
You're absolutely spot on Apollo. I'd love to see a straight port of FF VII, except maybe a few changes to side stories and mini-games. We should all get together and start a petition to remake FF VII and send it to Square.
Sorry foofightersrule, but FF VII is not being remade for the ps3. FF VII is my favourite game of all time and I'd buy a ps3 just for that game. But the scene of FF VII shown on the ps3 was just a remade shot to show off the graphics of the ps3.
