I was pulling into a late night drive thru the other night getting something to eat after a long day of work and business travel. I ordered my usual gut bomb burger and greasy fries...with a watered down mello yello the night was so humid the condensation from the ice cold yellow fluid was dripping on my pants and pissing me off....just like when a grease soaked fry falls through the container down between the seats of your just cleaned car. I ask myself why do I poisen my body with this stuff when it makes me feel terrible after I eat it..like i just ate a dead carcass of roadkill that has been sitting in the sun for a week. I was waiting like for 10 minutes and about to rap on the window when i looked in and saw a masked man in the restaurant pointing a gun at a very scared crying young girl at the counter...now there was no one around that I could see from where I was..it was late and everyone was gone pretty much. My heart started beating like a drum! I knew what I needed to do but I just couldnt believe my eyes and kept telling myself this isnt happening this isnt happening. By this time the girl was shaking uncontrollably...the gunman was holding that thing in her face and kept shaking it like it was gonna make her go any faster... she was totally scared and so was I and the gunman didnt even see me where I was. I sunk down further in my car seat and fumbled for my cell phone.....and guess what, yup no service popped up on it ...by this time the sweat was rolling down my forehead and I was wondering when he would shove the gun out the order window into my car door and say give me your money NOW! I had turned off the car and lights because thats what I always do late night in drive thru...it takes them so long ussually. So I crawled out the passenger side slowly and quietly all the time expecting to hear pop pop pop and thinking I would have to live the rest of my life with the picture of that blonde scared little girls face in my mind and also thinking why didnt I act faster and think faster. I litterally crawled on the ground through some bushes to the lot next door...got up and ran over to a convenience store about 2 blocks away.....to make a long story short 911 responed pretty fast and they caught the guy after a foot chase hiding in a parked car at an apartment complex.

Thank GoD things turned out the way they did and the girl that ws being held up at gunpoint is a very close friend even to this day.
