Hey guys, been awhile since I last made a blog lol.:P I'll try and make it brief yet informing with the least about of emoticons as possible.:)...:P

I've recently been promoted at HYPE to officer's rank which makes me rather giddy and I'd like to thank the leader Episode_Eve, Agent-Mi6, Treal and SolidTy for solidifying my posting $tyle, pushing my limits as to how I handle things on the forums (yeah took awhile:P) and promoting me to officer.:) (Yeah you too chickenwing:P) Hell I'm being wayy too nice, so I'll thank the others like Ringx55, Rockmann and Ragnarok as well.;)

Anyways that's enough about them.:P Now as for me, with college I didn't expect to be playing soo many games.:lol: Man I feel terrible for having gone against my word of only buying Gran Turismo 5 during the rest of the year.:lol:

So I've been gaming a lot, I've finally reached a more respectable trophy ranking at level 7.:P (I know it's nothing but hell at least it's something.:P) As you can see, I'm currently playing through these games:

Tomb Raider Underworld (I give it a 7.0)

NFS Shift (I give it an 8.0)

I bought them a week ago for $30 together.:) Besides them, I've also played through these during the last month (which I've also bought during the last month.:P)

POP Forgotten Sands (I give it an 8.0)

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (I give it an 8.0)

As you can see, they all scored A on GS and I was wondering if I'd enjoy them (all of them are ****c franchises that I loved during the previous generations) and what you know, I'm very pleased with them.:) Since they had scored in the 7.0-7.5 range, I didn't have much expectations so they made me quite happy with my purchases.:) Of course, I did not buy any of these games new. I have been boycotting Ubisoft, Activision and Rockstar so no buying new games by them.:P

Moving on, I have more games that have yet to be completed. (aka getting their platinums:( ) I currently have Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Assassin's Creed 2 & POP Forgotten Sands lined up for their plats while I still have Spidey and Batman to get eventually..:cry:

People might ask, why do I care about trophies so much? It simply because it gives me an excuse for finally having finished the game.:P

Finally, I have 2 games lined up for next month. If both get good scores, I'll buy 'em both down the line.:P I have some Wii games to get as well so these are my future purchases... Hopefully.:P

These are all eventual buys.:) (Probably by next year though..:()

Well I've been a little off the all the HYPE from last week because of a quick little vacation before classes begin for me so I've been catching up. My two cents? Not much happened last week it seems.:P Well the Batman Arkham City info's made me go :o and .. well that's pretty much it.:P

Now this week on the other hand (I got back on monday morning), well am I surprised with some of the big news that have been creating quite the atmosphere on System Wars, Youtube, Gametrailers... & other gaming websites :

Yup... Who knew E3 wasn't the only big deal this year?:P

Honestly, some of the big news that popped up at Gamescom 2010 actually made up for the rather... "okay" E3 conference that Sony had. Resistance 3, Ratchet & Clank: All for One & some Dragon Age 2 info + trailers were a nice addition to my HYPE meter which has been steadily declining as of recently.:)

However the biggest news to me is a rather generic and some might say "lame/fanboyish/late to the party". It's the :

Yup, I was basically 100% sure that this game would not make it to the PS3 and was even considering about buying a 360 by the end of this year (an arcade) but thank you EA for saving me some cash.:) Granted many have been DC'ing all around teh wonderful world called teh EN-THUR-NET about this news but oh well, I may be late to the party but I sure as will enjoy that punch! :P

Anyways yesterday SW was pretty funny but also some close friends of mine were pretty pissed that I can play this game now.:P I only played a little bit of it at a friend's house and I'm very excited about this news.:D

... I mean it's pretty true.:P

So yeah with all of these stuff going on, I'm been home for the last 2 years resting before my ****s begin.. GT5 looks insane, Mafia 2 looks gold & Assassins Creed Brotherhood looks badass! My 3 purchases of the year!... Oh yeah and Kirby/Donkey Kong as well.:P

Hey guys what's happnin??:P

So yeah with summer vacation underway I have more time to game obviously and boy is it a mess...-_- I recently got Metal Gear Solid 4 and I am at act 2 but I cannot continue because I have Uncharted 2's platinum to finally get! I have one more trophy and it's the crushing difficulty completed one.

Then I JUST recently got Batman Arkham Asylum after so long and I've gotta say, it is amazing! It really has a Metroid feel but the backtracking isn't tedious. I'm about to go to Killer Croc's lair and apparentely I'm towards the end of the game already...-_-

I bought it for 20$ + a trade by giving my 2 Spider-Man games away... I can say I'm pretty glad with the trade since one of them was busted anyways.:P (I'm such a bad boy:P)

... Anyways I also have Star Wars the Force Unleashed to play through AND Assassins Creed 2 AGAIN because of friggin Ubisoft's idea of not letting me transfer my saved data:evil:... Oh well at least now I have an excuse to get platinum in it... Oh I dread those feathers already...:shock:...:|... :cry:

Besides that I'm thinking about getting Red Dead Redemption soon to even further kill myself.:cry: I start class on the 24th? well last week of August so yeah... I'm thinking about getting it as soon as I'm done getting plat in Uncharted 2 + finishing up with Arkham.:D

Since I will only be getting Gran Turismo 5 & Mafia II as the only upcoming PS3 titles and Donkey Kong & Kirby for Wii this year, I will have tons of games to keep me busy.:D

Well I got my new PS3 yesterday.:) Took like an hour to install the new firmwares for all the games I have, sync my trophies, get my wifi to work and all. -_-

Anyways, it's always fun to open up a new console you buy lol. So yeah aside from the PS3, I bought a brand new 16G USB key & Star Wars the Force Unleashed as well.

Played it a little, it's okay, a 7.0 worthy game. The controls are a little weird and pretty off sometimes but the force powers make up for it. I'm playing it in normal but I will return to the game to get platinum as well as play in the toughest difficulty.:)

As the title says, my PS3 broke about 3 days ago right after my summer school ended and summer officially started (calender & my schedule wise). So I shall be getting a new one probably in the upcoming week or so. Thank god I always transfer my save files onto my PC but friggin UBISOFT'S ASSASSINS CREED 2 WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO!!:x

.. At least this gives me an excuse to play through the whole game to get platinum.:P I will probably do the same with Uncharted 2 and once I get Red Dead Redemption, same thing.:)

Also with E3 over, I'm glad to finally say that my shopping list for games have sort of changed. I already have an idea on which games I WILL buy but there will always be a game that will surprise me so yeah.:)

Here's a quick list: Batman Arkham Asylum Greatest Hits (when it's out), Mafia II, Red Dead Redemption, Gran Turismo 5 & Need For Speed Hot Pursuit.

For Wii, I'll be getting Donkey Kong Country Returns & maybe Kirby this fall. I will wait until Zelda Skyward Sword comes out to finally buy Galaxy 2 (the game I underestimated the most) & Metroid Other M.:)

That's all I guess.. I hope my Uncharted 2 online stuff won't be gone.. I just started to play online.:P

Well the big 3 + Ea & Ubisoft are finally over! Overall this E3 was a little better than last years. Many bigger announcements this year (especially from Nintendo) and everyones going motion controls now (on which I'm rather indifferent about).

So I'll actually do my top-five moments from each conference. They are mostly games but props if they managed to do something funny/original.:)

Microsoft:

Now Microsoft's conference was the first one and it seems to be getting a lot of hate around here. I honestly found it to be an okay conference, despite Kinect (Natal) being center staged. I can see why there are many who don't like motion controls but I personally found Kinect pretty cool.. Well not like "OOhh cool game!" but I saw it as a fun switch from video games like Twister or Hasbro stuff.

Now the top 5:

5- Gears of War 3 gameplay.

It wasn't anything special but it finally showed some GREEN! Gameplay looked tight and overall 4 player co-op looked promising.

4 - Kinect stuff

It's not for everyone. However, I did find some of their new stuff pretty cool, especially the Forza demo that they showed. Really cool stuff and I'll obviously try it at a friends house one day. It's not a buy for me yet though.. Then again I have to get a 360.:P

3 - Codename: Kingdom

An exclusive from Crytek for the 360? That's pretty cool! It's like Microsoft answer to Sony's Agent deal with Rockstar. The trailer looked promising and I think it may go on the PC as well but I will keep an eye on for some more details.

2 - ESPN no charge

This is an epic deal! No extra charges for ESPN on XLive?? That's friggin cool!

1 - Xbox 360 redesign

Well.. I don't why there is so much hate but I kinda like it.:) It looks visually appealing despite that weird ventilation on the side. The "apparent" price drop also seems very intriuging and makes me want a 360 more.:P

Score: Overall I'd give this conference a C +. I thought it had some good content even though we didn't see much of anything that's new and the stuff that we did see just wasn't enough for a core gamer like me.

EA Games:

Ea's conference was exactly what an E3 conference should be. Games after games after games and keeping the casual stuff at a minimum. Dead Space 2, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Crysis 2 and even Medal of Honor all looked great.

Now the top 5:

5 - Need for Speed coming back big with Hot Pursuit and Crieton being the developer.:D:D

4 - Crysis 2 gameplay and graphics were just phenominal! Overall the game was just mindblowing to look at!

3 - The casual stuff and EA Sports stuff to a minimum. AWESOME!:D

2 - Dead Space 2. That game just looks outstanding! Everything about looks bigger and better. This is an amazing sequel and it is a day one buy for me!... Ok maybe not.:P

1 - EVERYTHING! This whole conference really made my day after Microsoft's rather weak line-up of games. Kinect was not really there and it was full of hardcore!:D

Score: Overall, this conference is a solid A - from me. It hard some great content and it did everything Microsoft should've done and I was happy that EA Games has become.. Less evil let's say.:P I mean a company's business is to make money first but Ea found a happy medium between that and quality.

Ubisoft:

Oh boy.. Now let me start of by saying that I LOVE Ubisoft Montreal mainly because their studio is like 20 minutes from my place.:P Their games are awesome but wow did they drop the ball here.:| After Ea I thought that we would get some great content from Ubisoft as well. Not to mention some big announcements. What we got was a casual fest with.. LASER TAG?!?!?! Anyways the conference was bad. The host was trying too hard to be funny and said "amazing" & "wow" way too many times and. It was a CASUAL FEST! Either way, they did show some good/great content. Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Ghost Recon Future Soldier & Rayman were great! ... Everything else was just a fail with some that are "... mehh" like Driver.

Score: I really didn't enjoy this conference. Brotherhood is a must buy for me and Future Solider is some how getting there but 2 great games don't make one good conference. D from me.

Nintendo:

:|:|:|:|:|:| WOW!!!!!111ONEONEONE

This is what I call Nintendo! Sales charts, casual games and Cammie to the minimum/not there at all + core games & memorable franchises! I'll just go ahead and say that everything was perfect here! Sure it had some up's and down's like the Wiimote not really working during Zelda, lack of Star Fox on Wii, lack of any "PSN/XLive" but those are merely nitpicking. The whole conference was just simply outstanding! A from me.:D

Sony:

Honestly, I didn't expect much from Sony this year. I knew Killzone 3, InFamous 2, Little Big Planet 2, Twisted Metal and 3D would debut today but thing that really made their conference not suck as much as Ubisoft's was Kevin Butler and Gabe Newell. I mean it still wasn't great and really made me wish that they kept their new games as secrets until E3 but oh well.

5 - GT release date. Nuff said.

4 - inFamous 2 trailer. I gotta say, the new "cole"?:? looks interesting and the new ice powers got this game on my radar despite me not really enjoying the first inFamous.

3 - Twisted Metal. Jaffe! CLOWNS!:o The come back from Jaffe I was waiting for.:P

2 - Gabe and Portal 2 unite on PS3!!

1 - Kevin Butler. Nuff said.

Score: This E3 for Sony was rather weak compared to their last E3. They should've really kept some secrets and reveal them DURING the conference. Otherwise, Kevin and Gabe really made it worthwhile to actually sit through. Some parts were just "ugh" worthy. That's when I went to get some food or went to the washroom but otherwise, it was an okay E3. Not their best but alright. B - from me.

In the end, this E3 was alright. Sony & Microsoft disappointed while Nintendo made a touchdown!! Who would've thought that NINTENDO would out shine everyone this year?? First Galaxy 2 and now this? 2010 really is Nintendo's year and let's just hope next year they still deliver with better games.:)

What's poppin yall,

Well it's summer and I ended school like nearly a month ago however I've been doing 75hours of summer school to catch up on accounting/economics courses since I am an ex-science student in college. I end this friday, however, I have started to work so there is a slight possibility that I might miss either Sony or Nintendo's conference. It's like guaranteed that I will miss Microsoft's so yeah.:(

On another note, I will be moving into a smaller appartement so my summer will be rather busy. HOwever, I will be able to game much more frequentely as well as return to some of the unions and be more active (overall) so it will be chill.:D

Now this blog is a little short but I will be doing another one possibly next week to give my overall impressions of E3 to the few readers I do have.:P Also expect some great reviews with a more professional structure this summer. I mean the last time I wrote a review was when I was in high school.:P Time to step it up and write a better structures and informative review.:P

Hey guys, I got the title idea from Desulated so I gotta give credit where it's due lol. Anywho as my title suggests, I end classes on the 7th (yayy!!) and then I start my examination that will go on for a week... well basically 2 weeks but I will have a day off and all.. I'm currently doing science but I am thinking about switching into Commerce, Business & Marketing so once I'm done.. Summer school, Finance & Accounting here I come.:D:P:cry:... So wish me luck.:P

Anywho I got these 2 games for my PS3 recently.. & when I say recently, I mean 2 weeks ago.:P

So far, it's amazing. I can't believe I waited this long to get it... I'm currently at Sequence 8 and it's mind blowing, although with my examinations coming up I unfortunately cannot play it till later on this month..:(

So yeah, btw I gotta say this game has been the best game I've played since Uncharted 2, so yeah it's pretty darn good.:P

And here's the second... I will say, it's not bad.. But it's not great either lol. I will save the rest for my review if anyone actually wants more info on this game. I have yet to finish it and do my second runthrough in evil mode but yeah, that's for summer as well.:(

Anywho, on reviews, I haven't done a review since... late 08?:o... Damn lol, so yeah I will review the more obscure and less popular games that I think, fans of the particular series should know my view on a game from that series. I mean why review a game that got 9.0's?:P I also think that I will probably update my scores.. Alas.

Also if you guys didn't read my last blog, I was planning on getting a 360 and finally came to the conclusion that I will buy an arcade this holiday season when it will be around 150$.:P IT WILL HAPPEN!!:o

I don't care about online.. As long as I can save my games and play them lol. I mean Alan Wake, PGR4 & Forza 3 are all I need.:P

Hey guyss.. Been awhile since I last blogged.. So yeah I've been like not posting much on GS.. Although I do lurk from time to time.. Especially on SW.. I gotta say it's jokes there.:P Anyways so yeah.. You can tell I haven't been active at all.. I mean look at my post count and level.:P I've been at lv.30 ish..for like ages.:| I mean even DragonFly surpassed me:| lol I mean he was at what level 13 when I was level 25..?

Anyways so yeah college is hard.. I hardly have much free time nowadays.. The last game I bought was.. Uncharted 2..? lol I rented God of War 3 and yeah the ended was...:| I still have to buy AC2 and Batman AA. That's how late I am.:P

Anyways rant time.

Am I the only one who is thinking is just wrong..? I mean Galaxy was a great game but did it really deserve a sequel that other games like Star Fox, Kirby, F Zero could've used? I mean after seeing how the game plays, it just looks like an updated version of Galaxy with Yoshi in it.-_- I mean many of you are probably gonna go...no. But seriously, this is how I feel about this situation. I was certain that Nintendo was going to innovate with the Mario formula again for the next Nintendo console but like.. C'mon man. The "no hub world" is also an issue for me. I loved the hub in Sunshine (despite it being inferior to Galaxy, the hub was certainly one of the best hub's in any platformer). Galaxy's hub sucked but this is just... c'mon man. It just looks lazy imo. Also it's release date is like... Linked with many big titles that I wanted to actually BUY as soon as college was over.

Now next rant.

Why the hell are they releasing this game a mere MONTH after Galaxy 2...? Wii owners went thru basically a year and a half without any good Nintendo games(besides Animal Crossing, Punch Outt & New Mario). This is their BIG title and they are releasing it a MONTH after Galaxy 2? I mean seriously?? This isn't a big issue but c'mon like I've waited to use my Wii for like a sucha long time (The only Wii game I bought last year was Metroid Trilogy) and we get it RIGHT after a big Nintendo title and we wait another 2 years for Nintendo's time to shine. I hated it when the same thing happend with Brawl and Mario Kart.

Also gameplay wise.. The game looks suspicious.. I don't know how it will do but this will certainly not be a day one buy for me. I wanna wait and see the reviews and more gameplay vids. I don't trust Team Ninja with Nintendo property.:P

Next rant

... How much longer Sony..? Are they really going to release this THIS year? Waiting to release it at the same time as this:

Honestly, this is Sony's big title and one of the reasons why I wasted one of my grad gifts on last summer and this better be worth it. I have been waiting soo long for this game to come out and Sony keeps friggin pushing it back! In the meanwhile, I gotta say I got used to Forza. Forza 3 is a very fun game and really makes me want to get a 360 and that's actually my next topic. (I mean this is all like quick and a mess but I don't really have to time to structure everything together.:P)

Well Yes. I've been thinking about getting a 360 ever since well.. Alan Wake went Xbox exclusive. I mean honestly, I'm not much of an online gamer. I play a few rounds of UC2 online at home or go MW2 at friends home so Xbox Live isn't really a big deal to me since I probably won't even need it. What I'm really thinking about atm is.. Will it be a good purchase? Most 360 games that are multiplat.. I would it get on the PS3 either way but there are some interesting exclusives as well as XBOXLIVEARCADE titles I'm really into. Heres a quick list:

Yeah... hehe So far I'm loving the album. Some great songs like Hey Daddy, Lil Freak, So many Girls and There goes my Baby which are a must download if you like R&B.
