Just got through watching a video on G4 about originality in the industry today. Fable was mentioned as the only new IP of 2004 in the top 50 games. Now I believe that Fable diminished the potential of Jade Empire. Fable was hyped to hit as hard as FFVII. When it released, it was a half-a$$ed ripoff. Bioware wanted to simplify their presentation for the casual gamer. Someone who doesn't follow Bioware will see that Microsoft Studios logo and think about Fable, negatively. I read that Jade has sold a little over gold. Now the price is $20.
