I think that one looks pretty good for a factory comp.
While the memory is only 3 gigs standard, it's upgradable to 8. The network specs look good, except I would recommend adding a wifi card somewhere down the line.

I say you get TWEWY and play it while you wait for FFTA2 to come out.
While I can vouch that TWEWY is damn good, I'm willing to bet FFTA2 is going to be hella awesome as well.
'Course, I've been a Tactics fan since I found a copy of the original somewhere in Canada. In Wal-Mart of all places.
But I digress. What you should do is find a way to buy both. That way you'd be doubly happy.
....that's what I'd do, anyways.....
Mass Effect, Oblivion, CoD4, and Bioshock.
As far as GTAIV, I don't think it deserved a 10. Close, but no.
Consider this.
You can get .5 more GHz processing power and a 512MB GeForce 9600GT, but half the hard drive space and half the RAM for $1114.
Also, as an added bonus, it'll light up from the inside.
Edit:
you could also shuffle through this garbage for what looks like a pretty damn sweet gaming rig....
but it's $100 more.
Also, you can get a clear case for a buck extra.
double edit:
here
Weighing in at 6.14 pounds, the HP Pavilion dv6700t series. 2 gigs of ram, 250 gigs of hard drive space, 1.83 gHz, and an OS recovery DVD will run you $798.99.
'Course, if you want something cheaper, learn to do your own homework.
:D
I hate to break it to you, but most every game that features an open world (except for the very few games like Spore and EVE online) is really just featuring an extremely large box for you to roam around in. Eventually you'll hit a wall.
But that's beside the point.
My favorite part of being in a giant box is getting lost.
It's sorta unfair to say that since it costs 25% more, it should perform 25% better. I'd say that if it performed 10% better, I'd be happy spending extra.
After all, when it comes to computer parts, you usually get what you pay for. (usually)
i'm a GH fan, but i think this will turn out dissapointing. I don't think the touch screen will work well to strum on and the whole setup just looks awkward.
I hope i'm surprized but i really don't expect much. I'm hoping this doesn't tarnish the franchise.

Assumptions are deadly. Personally, I think (after playing The World Ends With You; the touch screen in that game is precise) the strumming is the least of everyone's problems (or mine, at least). What I'm worried about is how they're gonna handle star power. If there's a tilt sensor in the button add-on, it's gonna make for some awkward times.
And my other thoughts are that if you're really that obsessed with Guitar Hero, it won't matter that there will be fewer characters and less songs and only 4 buttons. It'll probably be easily overlookable so long as they choose a good setlist.
[QUOTE="Killburglar"]It's not gamestop's fault they hire idiots. Well, maybe it is.
The only real problem I've ever had with gamestop is that they tried to sell me a PC game with no CD key. Luckily the clerk had some integrity and told me that they didn't have the orginal case to the game.

I'm not trashing GS per se, just the clerks of a particular store. The employees of the other store were quite helpful.
YEAH! DOWN WITH THE NON-HELPFUL EMPLOYEES!
...the next step is to find out where they live.
