I've been thinking about this question for a while now. I'd just like to get people's opinion's on this =)

I was reading though a games magazine in the posting section where people write letters or e-mails to the magazine. One person wrote to complain about the price of games. They are too expensive, some people cannot afford them, the games end up not being good etc etc. The reply was "Hey, games are worth the price they are given 100%. The amount of time and effort the developers of the games put in, is hardwork and time consuming. We would say yes, they are definately worth the price".

I find it hard to choose a side on this. Yes games are expensive and even I sometimes restrict how many I buy as I cannot afford them all the time,but, is it not true that the developers work day and night trying to best the game for us as much as possible? Is it a kind of payment for them as a Thank You or that we appreciate the games they bring out for us? What's all your opinions on this?
