Got a 3DS!!!

I'm a little late in saying this, but on the day of the 3DS launch, I got one. The 3DS is amazing. The 3D works, and there are plenty of things built in. Let me start with the AR games.

As you may know, the AR games are used with cards with pictures of iconic characters and one object. Using the question block, the 3DS can project games that are avaiable. You can unlock more games the more you play others. The character cards are simply statues. You can move, change poses, and change the size of the characters.

Now the mii maker. Ripped straight from the wii except you can take a picture of yourself to get the initial form and look.

Face Raiders. You can take a picture of yourself or others and the face will be put into a helmet. You can play stages by shooting these heads and fighting a boss at the end of each stage. There are also bombs you can collect but are only for a one-time use.

Music. Straight from the DSi

Pictures. From the DSi with a couple of new options.

Unfortunately I don't have anyone on my friend list or anyone in my streetpass so sorry for no info.

Now for the game I bought. I got Super Monkey Ball. Honestly, this isn't nearly as hard as the gamecube titles and the stages are meant for the motion controls. In case you don't know what monkey ball is, it is a game where you tilt a monkey in a ball to get to the end of the stage. Throughout each world there are collectibles. These collectibles don't really do anything in terms of the other modes. One of the other modes is monkey race. It's just a copy of Mario Kart but you'll never win a grand prix because the items are SSSSOOOOOOO CHEAP. Did I mention there is no way to turn items off too? The last mode is monkey fight. Again, it's a copy of smash bros this time. Honestly, I really like this mode. It was a nice try and if Nintendo ever makes a handheld smashbros, they know what to work off of. Of course I still like the smash bros games more though.

Unfortunately, I only got this one game. I do plan to get others and here is the list:

Rayman 3D

Pacman and Galaga Dimensions

Kid Icarus

Super Mario 3D

Mario Kart 3D

Paper Mario 3D

The 3DS is a great handheld and I highly recommend getting it if you can.

My thoughts on Kirby's Dream Land Wii!

Please keep in mind that this is only my opinion.

To start my thoughts, I think those very strong attacks shown are only usable after collecting a certain number of stars. In the video, as Kirby collected stars and the top-left corner of the screen kept track of how many he had. These are to reasons to why. Above his lives and star count, were 3 objects that were shaded out. It is possible that when all 3 are flashing after collecting a certain amount of stars, they can be used for his special moves. Very similar to getting a smash ball and using the characters strongest move. Another reason is because when the screen zoomed in on Kirby, you could see a symbol of star on his hat when he used the huge sword and summoned the fire dragon. This could be that he is using the power of the stars to power up his abilities.

Here are my thoughts on the abilities/animal friends. Obviously, you can see that there is going to be at least 3 more powers; cowboy whip, water, and a cannon type thing. Cowboy whip and Water are completely new, but cannon had a volcanic brother in Kirby 64. This is apparently Kirby's Dream Land Wii so it might have animal friend appearances. If this does happen though, it would be very questionable to what what would happen with the special. They would probably be different or not usable at all. As far as regular Kirby alone moves, they might be the same because you see a short showing of sword Kirby doing the slide kick sword attack.

SPOILERS- though these are just thoughts, you might not want to have an Idea of what the villain is just yet. At my first time watching the clip of game play, I saw nothing special indicating the villain. After watching the video a few more times, I noticed a certain enemy. This enemy was the mummy dark matter from Kirby 64! This seen when Kirby uses his sword special the second time. Also, the room with purple stuff following him is suspicious. It could the last world leading to the final boss.

These were my thoughts of Kirby's Dream Land Wii. These thoughts were very thought out carefully, yet I could still be completely wrong. Who knows?!?! The one thing I really didn't mention is that Kirby's life is a meter much like Kirby Squeak Squad. Other than that these were my thoughts of Kirby's Dreamland Wii based off a 30 second video.
