I exchanged my PS3 for the 360 in February, it's been great since, but honestly... THE GRAN TURISMO HD!!! demo is better than this Forza demo which is an already complete build of the game, the graphics are off! the physics were decent, but 2nd to GTHD, the damage was awkward, DID ANYONE NOTICE THE CAR LOOKS CELL SHADED when its damaged!! I was laughing!!! Every1, including all us X360 owners know the best Racing game console is PS3, heck I had SOOO much fun with the Motorstorm demo when it released!! I love the BMW M3 though!!; )Â im looking forward to Dirt, that 1 looks better, OF COURSE!! i cant forget the real game will have great features to back up what looks to me, a lastgen mediocre game!
Gears of War is pretty spectacular, I even sold my PS3 for 300$less than I payed for to get a 360 to play Gears, I've had it for 2 weeks and I only took the game out of the box twice, once because it said it needed cleaning(Pathetic console) and yesterday because I wanted to try Arcade Games which came free, GEOMETRY WARS! : ) ... Otherwise I think it does live up to the hype! It wouldnt have rated the game 9.6, I'd probably settle for a 9 or high 8, I'm quite critical, but theres many reasons not to like it! -Lag, sometimes major! -Online, no host names for maps, only 8 players, hard to find servers with friends -Glitches, Chainsaw!(Which I love!) -Weak story, very unappealing!, voice overs even! -Bosses -even some guns are pretty weak(compared to Resistance which i had for PS3) - and worst of all! NO INTERACTION! where is the glass breaking, shrapnel from grenades, cars blowing up, all this was present in Resistance which is not as good as Gears!
This question has probably been bounced around various times, but, unfortunately i must ask again, when will the Beta see the light of day?? I am ANTI-Crackdown and practically anti-360 but games like GEARS, HALO and now maybe even MASS EFFECT have gotten me to sell my PS3 to get a 360! I dont want Crackdown because unfortunately it isnt any bit fun, and looks worse the God of War 2 for PS2(Which will be amazing!), I know there is no way to get the beta but throwing away valuable cash to pay for a 1 month game period(Halo3 beta, which is more of a game than Crackdown, similar to MGS2 demo for that stupid flying game). I would have rather thrown away money for Lost Planet, but unfortunately it isnt my choice, now I even heard that i wont be able to sell Crackdown and keep the Halo 3 code because supposedly it'll be embedded into the game as an option! AM I the only one who is Pissed?? Microsoft, Im ashamed... I'd even rather pay 5$ just for the beta.
