In short, Noby Noby Boy, from the creator of Katamari Damacy, is just utter insanity. A game with no goal, and seemingly few limits. My curiosity alone is more than enough for me to drop a couple of bucks on this thing.
Thoughts?
It looks alright. Most of the videos ive seen he just seems to spam the same lightening attacks over and over... it looks kind of boring. And the parkour stuff he can do just looks funny to me.Childeater10Yeah, this. It may end up being fun, but it looks like a weak Crackdown/GTA/Spiderman mashup to me. It's a blip on the radar, but I don't really have high hopes for it.
[QUOTE="lawlessx"][QUOTE="Beastcake"]Freakin awesome. I think I'll spend half my paycheck on gamer points and instead of buying Rock Band DLC or the full version of Castle Crashers or Braid, I'll just buy BlowOut. This is the game I've been waiting for! =I EDIT: BTW how often do they release new Xbox Originals? Was it one every month or something along those lines?Beastcakeyeah it's every month whats the deal microsoft? stop bringing back games that NOBODY played and start giving us titles that we really enjoyed on the xbox. like say...Kotor! Hell yes. But I'm guessing KotOR is too massive of a game to download and store for most people. Though I could be wrong. Anyone know how big the PC version was? Well, since KOTOR was released on a single DVD for the original xbox, it should be 10GBs or less, like all the other Xbox originals.
Last month, All I read on here is people saying 'OMG BEST GAME EVER, IT WILL BE I PROMISE OMG' Right... So they haven't actually played the beta (lawl) And now more and more info has been released like no Co-Op? And other details..TheProdigyIV
I love the "and other details" bit. It definitely looks like you're just trying to scrounge up some controversy, and that's fine. I've been as against these out of control hype trains as anyone, but just as it's premature to label KZ2 GOTY 2009, it's just as premature to say it's already flopping. So far, the lack of co-op seems to be the only disappointing information that's come out in the last few weeks.
If KZ2 ends up being a victim of its own hype, meaning an 8.5 or less = abject failure, then so be it. I, personally, do not expect a groundbreaking story or revolutionary gameplay elements. I'm looking for a graphical showcase providing a solid shooter experience with addictive MP. If we get that, I'll call it a win.
