This weekend I went out to the duck club with one of my friends. At the duck club, as you guessed it, is a hunting place. but it isn't just ducks. there's deer, rabbits, blackbirds(pretty much every kind of bird in the U.S.), snakes, and coyotes. The first night, we went out and set up a little camp about half a mile from the cabins. We were going to kill whatever we could see with bow and arrows. after it started getting dark, about 8:00, we realized something, we forgot bug spray. The coyotes were starting to howl, and we were getting eaten by mosquitos. We didn't think that much of it cause they were just little bug bites. But GOD DAMN did they itch, still do. It wasn't really the best night to be out either because of course, there was a bunch of lightening. Another 30 Minutes went by, and man, the lightening was getting real close! One was so close, everything went white for 3 seconds. After that, we ran our asses back to the cabin. Although something got in my shoe and rubbed against my skin the whole way back... The next day, I woke up and my bug bites were itching like hell! Especially the ones on my ankle, witch I didn't check till later. And Apparently, I got bit all over my face cause my eye was swollen. A little while later we went out and shot some 30 ought 6 rounds and a lot of 22's. Later, we found a mini bike in some ones little garage. We raced that and a quad pretty much the whole day(if you ever get the chance to drive a quad, take it, there awesome!). later we had tacos for dinner and watched the dogs play. I went in the other room to change, and I saw all these blisters around my ankle filled with water or something clear! I put some stuff on all them to make them numb, then poked all the juice out of them. Apparently, I had to go to the emergency room to get checked for West Nile and that stuff. Well, I didn't have it, but those blisters on my ankles weren't normal. Basically, they gave me a prescription for cream. I headed over to Walgreens, it was 2:30 AM, and they have it blocked off! I finally had a cop move one of the barricades so I could get through. Then Walgreens doesn't have the right stuff, so I have to put on 2 creams on the back of my ankles 4 times for a few weeks a day so I don't get Impetigo. I didn't get to sleep until somewhere around 4:30AM. That would have been one of the worst days of my life if it wasn't for going to The Duck Club.
