Gunners blow spuds, Milan belongs to Inter!!!!

Game: Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Links: Skysports Arsenal.com Footytube

Score: 2 - 1

Competition: Barclays' English Premier League

Goals: Gallas (AFC) (47'), Bendtner (AFC) (75'), Berbatov (THFC) (62')

Report: It was the tale of a missed penalty and an inspired substitution in the North London derby between Arsenal and Spurs.

The first half was a rather tame affair, with both sides not really going forward with the real killer that we know they are capable of. Play was disjointed and inconsistent spells of possession so both sides lack a penetrating edge. The real chance was from Flamini who, hooked his volley just wide after just 71 seconds. The rest of the half played out with little to excite except a header from Toure which brought a rather theatrical dive from Robinson.

The second half was a massive contrast to the 1st. Arsenal started it a guns blazing and got the first goal with 2 mins. Good work from Rosicky, created a little space for Fabregas to move into, as he received the pass, he drew in a defender and created space for Adebayor. A sly back heel from the spaniard to him tee'd him up perfectly for his 10th goal of the season and his 6th against Spurs in a year.....Spurs will be sick of him.....the goal spurred the gunners on and they started going forward a lot more purposefully, only to be foiled by good defending from Spurs, yougster O'Hara had a great game, in the heart of the Spurs midfield, he controlled their play and provided the 30 yard pass to Lenon who played in Keane, who played a clever backheel to Berbatov who managed to toepoke his shot into the roof of the net, leaving Almunia no chance. The game started to pick up pace, with both sides sensing a winner, and it looked like that winner would be going Spurs' way when a clever trick from Berbatov fooled Toure who then felled him in the box, leaving ref Rob **** no option but to award the pen. Up stepped the ever reliable penalty taker, Robbie Keane. He had a chance to end Spurs' 9 year victory drought against their bitter rivals, but it was not to be, his penalty was well saved by Almunia, the save sent the Emirates crowd into raptures and left Jens Lehmann stony faced and ruing the miss. The miss proved crucial as a minute later, an inspired substitution from Le Boss saw Niklas Bendtner come on for Eboue and with his first touch head home to send the crowd into absolute disarray.....

The game played out with chances on either side, but in the end, Arsenal's 9 year reign over north london stays intact and the win keeps them at the summit of the table!!!!!! ALA GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh just a lil afters i've noticed the Milan will belong to inter for a while as they beat their bitter rivals AC 2 - 1.........just something I'd state out in thought of our very own AC Milan supporter right here on gamespot!!

ALL IN ALL, A VERY GOOD WEEKEND!!!!!!!!
