I've always felt that Gamespot understands the 1-10 scoring scale more than any of their competitors. Today, I am seeing too many games undeservedly score above a 9.0 on other sites but, Gamespot isn't afraid to score them as low as 4.5s (I'm looking at you RE6). I am also reading a lot of complaints from readers stating that scores are way to low when the score is only a 7.5. A 7.5 is not a bad score, its not outstanding either. For a game to deserve a 9.0 - 9.5, it truly has to be something special and the fact is not much coming out these days really is that special. Just my opinion. Keep doing what you do Gamespot.
