you are an artist, you are sitting on a 'bank' of models and textures based on photos - all ready for a current gen release. Then you have to 'up-polish' these assets for next gen hardware........talk me through it, because the result is going to be digital BS unless these assets were made for new tech from the start. And over a 5 year dev cycle, that cannot be true.

well, as long as we are reading headlines that say console maker gets large fine, and not hackers traced and given large fine, this will continue. Just to add to others comments, never ever put a debit card details into a console. They may look and act like credit cards but they are hardwired into your bank account and do not offer the same safeguards. Always use prepaid cards or face the concequences.

I have an ipad, the sweet spot is the lowest priced model. Ram has always been priced insanely by apple. I could have spent that money on a new console, but the console makers insist their products will be fun and cool for ten years, so they they lost that tech sale...

we had all these fights over chip speeds last time. Did the PS3 win the power war as its fans thought? Um no it didn't. The ram was split in half. Having a 230 mph supercar is no good if the only road you can drive it on is half a mile in length. Same deal this time. We need bucket loads of ram and no OS eating it up, or this will be the most mediocre next gen ever.
