Well I am not convinced. I don't like the price gap. I don't like the fact it is less powerful than the PS 4 on top of that. Not a SINGLE person from Microsoft or the fan base has made a single convincing argument EVER, that sells the idea that the kinect needs to have its cable plugged in the back of the console at all times.

And the Xbox defence force insulting owners of consoles including the 360, just seals the deal.

Holds up red flag. Servers cost the same in bulk regardless of application. You don't get a 90% discount because you are using them for a worthy cause like hosting console games.

Now we know MS loves to nickel and dime gamers; we have xbox live fees, but then we have season passes, DLC, micro-transactions, avatar accessories, marketing to pre order. And the non stupid amongst us are well aware of the trojan horse that kinect has become: it is google ad tracking on steroids.

So obviously money means a huge amount to MS. Now, if they are not going to nickel and dime developers with server costs, let's take a guess as to who they ARE going to nickel and dime. I will give you a hint - it won't be publishers.

8. HDMI in port - This can be used for multiple purposes not yet know, however MS has mentioned some like; Connecting your tv provider system / your laptop / your xbox 360. Basically you can connect in (and use maybe with some app?) anything that has an HDMI out port, even a ps4 hehe, who knows... =).

HDMI is an anti piracy video and audio through put device. If you think that the xbox will be able to break the feed open and re-arrange the content in line with its own interface, you are smoking something you shouldn't be

the problem is this;

Gamers are not objecting to DRM controlled games. We have been getting them on our phones and ipods for the best part of a decade.

What we object to, is full retail disc prices on DRM heavy software. It is a no deal situation.

@Paulf001 the problem they have is, if they take the kinect away, and the price matches the PS4, the entire planet will then start comparing the speed of the 2 machines. At that point MS are dead in the water.

They have gambled on the xbox one being an entertainment centre that handles games. It cannot match the raw speed of the pS4.
