I'd say try Team Fortress again. Join player matches if you think its itimedating. 16 players will help too. that way you can practice with the different classes. also be a jack of all trades, try every class. dont limit yourself to one.
solution: make a free silver gamertag, making sure you put the birth date over 18. now you can download w/e (and i think map packs will carry over to your gold gamertag)
