I am simply saying that you should not go around claiming others beliefs are false. Is it really that hard to understand? I am just trying to tell you that you should try and be less insulting to others. You can say you believe your religion quite easily without saying it is proven and thus all conflicting religions are wrong. Next time you make a topic, don't say you have proof when you do not!

I'm going to go ahead and put this as short as possible so you don't misunderstand... Multiple conflicting stories cannot all be proven. Get it yet? How about an example. Bob believes 2 + 2 = 4 Joe believes 2 + 2 = 9 Tom believes 2 + 2 = 10,372 If something is proven, it is a fact. Two facts cannot conflict with each other. If Tom claimed that his formula was proven and therefore a fact, this would clearly piss of Bob and Joe because he basically said their beliefs are ****. Do you see how this relates to your situation?

Well, I am glad to make you angry. I think you are an unintelligent bigot who needs to learn some religious tolerance. There is no proof that your religion is fact, if you say that there is you are only insulting all conflicting beliefs. Perhaps you should learn what the word 'proof' means before you start throwing it around. If you believe that the only reason you have these beliefs is because of the way you were raised, then you must also realize that you may have ended up with any other religion and would be just as convinced that it was fact as you are with your current. If this is the case, then how do you know you ended up with the right one?

if i was born in christian family or in a modern western culture with no moral and religious values then i would have acted like a christian. or in the later i would have been a guy who have done all kinds of immoral things and also would have done stuff with many females.GRANDSLASHER27
Whoa, did you just say Christians have no moral or religious value? Or is that saying western culture has no moral or religious value? Either way, Nice one!

I know English probably isn't your first language, but you should try proof reading your posts before sending them. It is very difficult to decipher what you are trying to say. I am not sure I understand, so correct me if I am wrong. Are you saying that there is nothing wrong with saying things are facts and not providing proof? And you do not care if it is insulting to others with opposing beliefs?

That wasn't very coherent, but I'll try to respond... I am perfectly fine with you believing your religion is correct, and I would never ask you to say otherwise. What I am trying to say is that you do not need to attempt to prove your religion to anyone, especially on public forums where people of other religions may be easily offended by your claims. Could you not just state that you believe something without saying that the belief is fact? Because when you say that your belief is fact you are insulting all other peoples beliefs. For example, I believe god does not exist. I know this contradicts with just about every religion. Therefore I won't bother trying to prove I am right, because that would also mean I was trying to prove lots of other religions wrong, which wouldn't be very courteous.

See, you are still saying you have proof. This is what bothers me. Because if your particular religion is proven, then all contradicting religions are rendered false. You should just state that this is what you believe, you do not need to justify your beliefs to me or anyone else! If you would have simply created this topic asking whether or not others believe in an afterlife, I wouldn't have had any problem. Instead, you stated in your first post what you believe and that it is proven. And as I said earlier, that is pretty much stating that any conflicting belief is wrong, which isn't very nice. :p

i see now 7greatness, nothing will convince you unless you meet such a person in your life or probably after you die you will know whats gonna happen next!GRANDSLASHER27
If reincarnation is ever proven, I will be among the first to accept it. I believe in facts, and if anything is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, I will change my ways in an instant. Please though, do not resort to the petty "You'll know when you die!" crap that I see from the religious entirely too often.
seriously you are more of a quiet practical person, i agree with you on one point, news and probably everything in tv is pathetic, i too do not believe everything i see in it, but how can a kid act?!GRANDSLASHER27
I wouldn't say I am quiet. I never said a kid was acting, I simply said that this was a story and not a fact. We do not know if it actually happened and therefore it would be a an illogical assumption to assume that this is proof of reincarnation.
sits just a matter of vision, some believe and some do not simple and plain.GRANDSLASHER27
I am a supporter for freedom of all kinds, including religious. It's just when they claim that their particular belief is fact that bothers me. Because when you make that claim you are also claiming all others as false.
