It was dark; the sun was about to rise, which means it was probably close to setting in the United States. Crystal and Shawn were driving a truck down into the outskirts of town.

"So that's what happened huh?" Crystal asks

"Yeah, I'm still not sure exactly what happened, but I trusted Jon would tell me the truth."

"That's good, trust is needed in partnership."

"Yeah, but..."

"But, what?"

"Somehow the NYSO knows about my partnership with Nick...and Jon was the only other person who knew about it"

"You think he told them...why would he do that?"

"I don't know, but I'm hoping to find out..."

Shawn and Crystal arrive at a small log cabin...there were no neighbors, trees covered most of the area, and there was a small lantern hanging in front of the door...

Shawn and Crystal get out of the truck, which they had just rented...

"You sure this is the place?" Crystal asks

"This is the address that was on his records..."

"It's so creepy..."

"Yeah, I do not like this..."

"And I'm about to stay in the car..."

"Crystal..."

"Okay, okay..."

She stays close behind Shawn, while he walks up to the door...he grabs the lantern hanging, and opens the door...nothing is seen, as it's so dark, Shawn searches for a light switch, but no luck in finding one...

They step inside; creaking is heard in the wood as they walk on it...

It was a small room, box shaped...on the right, there was a few seats...dust and spider webs covered it all.

On the left, there were papers nailed all over the wall.

And ahead of him was a back door, with a something hanging off the door handle...

----Meanwhile----

"It's getting dark outside...maybe I should just go to bed..." Abby says.

"Okay, do you want me to stay here?" Zane asks.

"You can if you want; there are blankets in the closet by the bathroom.

"I just want to make sure you're safe and all."

"I'll be fine, there's a gun Jon hides in our bedroom, and he has taught me how to use it.

"Okay, well, then I'll go, I'll be back in the morning though, okay?"

"Okay, thanks..."

Zane leaves the house and closes the door.

Abby undresses and puts on her nightgown, she goes to the broken mirror, with dried blood on it...

In the mirror she sees Jon's face, "Don't worry Abby...I'm fine...I love you...with all my heart..."

Abby's eyes fill with tears..."Jonathan..."

She picks up a picture of him, and holds it to her chest...holding on tight.

She walks back into the sitting room, still holding the picture frame; she lies down on the couch and slowly falls to sleep.

----Meanwhile----

Shawn walks to the left where the papers are...there are many on the wall...one that catches his eye is a headline in the newspaper that was torn out...

"Building burnt down, one body found..."

"I knew it..." Shawn says.

"What?"

"Hisho's son definitely has a grudge against us...I'm sure he has Jon..."

"Well he ain't here..."

"No, this was an old hideout..."

Another paper catches his eye..."Old Woman speaks to spirits, calms them."

"Hey check this out" he grabs the paper of the wall...

A noise is heard against the other wall, it was like a thump, Shawn quickly turns around, Crystal hides behind him, putting her hand on his shoulder...He points the lantern around the room, and nothing is seen...the noise is heard again.

"It's outside..." Shawn says.

He hands the lantern to Crystal, and slowly heads toward the front door, gun cocked in his hand...

He peeks out to see nothing

"Shawn..." She whispers...

"He sneaks over to check the back door, and sees nothing...he puts his hand on the handle to open and peek out, but the handle feels very weird.

It felt rough, dusty, and dirty...he soon felt bugs crawling on his hand, he looks down, and there was bony hand hanging on the door, followed by ratty clothes on a skeleton...he jumps back hard, the wood cracks and breaks...his leg goes through, and from his knee down is stuck...Crystal walks over, "Shawn, what is it?"

She sees the skeleton and squeals, her hands cover her mouth, she flings the lantern back against the wall, and it lands on the floor, it cracks, and starts sparkling...

"Shawn! Why...who..."

"I don't know...." He cringes in pain..."But help get me out of here..."

Crystal helps pull him up, he kneels down, holding his lower leg...they hear the noises again, only louder

They stare at the back door, knowing it's coming from that direction. They see a shadow of a figure. Shawn and Crystal, especially Crystal, are freaked out of their minds. Both stayed still hoping they couldn't be seen in the dark...

----Meanwhile----

In the NYSO...Kyle and Lisa, the girl who called Shawn, comes into Colonel Bernard's office, he is going over some paper work...

"It's getting late, sir..." Lisa says.

"I know, I know, any word on Shawn?"

"I haven't been able to get a hold of him on any line..."

"He never did start acting suspicious until this rumor is started, and more and more, I am beginning to think it is true..."

Suddenly, a crash is heard in the window behind the colonel, he looks back to see a hole in the window, surrounded by cracks. He then looks down to his feet.

He sees a grenade, ready to blow up, he jumps over his desk and tackles Lisa and Kyle to the ground, while yelling, "Get down!"

The bomb goes off, part of the wall cracks up from the explosion, papers are flying everywhere inside the office, and the three cops lie on the ground.

----Meanwhile----

Suddenly, in the dark of the night, two purple glowing eyes are seen...Crystal and Shawn freak out, and quickly run back to the front door, but the sparks erupt into flames, burning the front wall...

Crystal hurries and runs out the front door, the flames spread quickly though, Shawn limps over, and barely makes it out, before the exit was consumed by the fire.

"Crystal, start up the truck!"

Crystal runs to the truck and turns it on, she then jumps to the passenger side, and Shawn limps quickly into the driver seat, and puts his foot on the gas. Dust goes flying, but they drive away fast.

Shawn looks in the review mirrors only to find that the whole cabin was on fire.

"Phew...that was too close..."

"Shawn...what was that thing?"

"I couldn't make it out; it was too dark...but those purple eyes..."

"That's impossible though!"

"I know...I know..."

He looks back again to see most of the cabin burnt down, some of the walls were still up.

"Shawn!!!"

Shawn turns his head around to see a mist, he quickly brakes.

"What?!"

"The mist..."

"Yeah?"

"Don't...Don't you see it?"

"What?"

"Those eyes...their staring right at us..."

"Crystal, you're seeing things, there is nothing there"...he looks in the review mirror to see the purple glowing eyes, and a black mist following behind them...

"But that is for real!"

He quickly slams on the pedal, and they drive through the mist, unknowing to them, they go off road, he continues to drive forward, branches and limbs get in the way, and soon the left tire hits a hill, sending them upward a bit, he loses control, and they hit a tree, the truck spins around a few times before the back end hits another tree.

And in the still of the night, in the middle of the woods, Shawn and Crystal sit in the truck...motionless.

----The Next Day (U.S. - day, Japan - night) ----

"Nobody's after you Abby, why would you think that?"

"Because the whole bedroom is completely destroyed...more than what it was before!"

"I knew I should have stayed here last night..."

"Yeah..."

"Don't worry Abby, I'll be staying by your side until Jon comes back...and he is..."

Abby looks up at him, she was sitting on the couch...

"You want some tea?" Zane asks.

"Please..."

Abby is sitting on the couch, and Zane comes back with drinks, and sits in the chair...Abby is having Iced Tea, while Zane drinks a beer.

"You know that Iced Tea I had yesterday was pretty nasty..."

Abby rolls her eyes.

"I was born and raised in the south; iced tea is in my blood."

Steps are heard outside, Zane looks alert, and his hand slowly reaches to his back pocket, Abby not noticing as she looks at the door...

The handle slowly goes down, and the door opens...

Abby's eyes widen, "Oh my goodness!"
