just to clear a few things up, first i don't own a HD-DVD player for the 360, second i work at a consumer electronics store so i do know about what is current on the market in the land of TVs. I buy my own things on a very small budget so I'm just interested in the few game titlesfor what eversystem it is, but it is not right for companies to bust on each others products! the system should speak for it's self, not needing the "help" of a pissed off Rep. who is angry because he failed to get his boss coffee that morning. Plus when someone does this it makes the consumer less trusting with that retailer, there by "scaring" the costumer away.but some people might agree with him, but i ask you, where did all your PSs, PS1s, PS2s, and n-64s, game-boys, dream-casts, xboxs, and all the other old systems end up? traded in, sold to your friend, in your basement, garbage cans, or given to someone who didn't have the money to buy one. so in the next years in game development, think of where your old system, which you defended tooth and nail for, and stood in line for un-godly amounts of time for, is? all to come down tosome over paid sales rep who cant keep his mouth shut on his personal opinion about the competitors product

you right, take the org. ps2 which changed the face of gaming when they went to dvds in 2000, but now the company is pushing some Blu-ray fromat that only runs on 1080p, when all the poles say nobody can tell the diff. between 1080p and 1080i ( the HD DVD standerd) plus at most retale stores only have 3 or less 1080p TVs which cost an arm & leg to get in the 1st place.

these things actually happen on the earlier models of the 360 so it depends on when you got it.
the later model system is quite good, with the ocational freeze, which can simply be fixed with a
simple restate. The only weird thing is when you play someof the original gamesfor xboxon the 360
like forza or fable, where your car's paint goes criptic, or various things like that. Over all the system
is doing a lot better than the 1st one on the release errors. have fun its a great system with lots of features
but make sure you get on live to take full advantage of all of them

Direct quote from Dille,

"I don't want to be argumentative, but I take issue with Microsoft either having a long tail, or being profitable, because they've never done either. They've never made a dime in this business, number one, and number two, they've never had a tail. They've never been successful enough to have a tail! So the notion of a back half of the curve doesn't exist for them. They stopped the Xbox and I kind of feel for the guy that bought an Xbox the month before they said 'we're out of business, we're moving on.' With the Xbox 360 you've got an inconsistent design, some have a hard drive, some don't, and none of them have Blu-Ray, and the HD-DVD will be out of business in a matter of months. Is this a 10 year product? And by the way, it doesn't even work. Do they want to be selling it for 10 years and refurbishing them all for 10 more years? I don't think that's a 10 year product. You could disagree with me, or they could disagree with me, but I'd put that up against the PS3 any day."
