im thinking maybe its my wireless card? because i have never had lag issues but for this comp i got a new linksys wireless card and i tried playing a singleplayer game and it never did the 1 second freeze

i never notice a hard drive light on at all. and this is my first brand new install so drivers should be good. ram is never being fully used so its not getting hogged

I currently just set up a new computer running windows 7 64 bit and whenever I am running a game the computer will freeze for 1-2 seconds then resume play. This is particularly annoying when I am playing action games such as counter-strike.

I was thinking about swapping out the ram for another brand, but idk what else to do
