@nibbin1191: I see your point, but we're not talking pizzas here, we're talking about multi million dollar acting deals.
It's about being professional.
If my boss told me to do something that I didn't particularly like doing, it would be very unprofessional to say I'd rather slash my wrists than do it.
If my wife tells me to clean the toilets, yeah, the slash my wrists thing would be appropriate. :)
@kyelo: "If they sold no copies, there would be no loss." You hit the nail on the head right there kyelo. That's what makes me nervous about this game. They quite literally don't have to deliver anything.
@nibbin1191: By that logic, I can say whatever I want, no matter how heinous, but I get a pass when later I said "Oh, I was just angry when I said that. JK!" Part of being an adult is tempering your speech.
@computernoises: I made that point once before and people responded "There's wrestling video games so there." Can't wait for GS to start reporting on farming news because of Farming Simulator.
I never really played GoW for the story and emotions and relationships, etc, etc. The series seemed like a bunch of massive dudes killing bad guys and that's okay with me.
@7tizz: I see what you're saying, but since it was a prequel to the first game released, I don't think it's a misnomer to call it a collection without it.
I'm not sure I can compare the two franchises as I'm so biased by nostalgia. I'm a huge fan of the Souls series, but nothing brings me joy the way the music of The Legend of Zelda on NES does.
Kinda defeats the purpose of a "collection", doesn't it? I mean, I have no issue with allowing folks to buy the games individually, let's just not call it a collection at that point.
