Club Nintendo Giant AR Card.

Well Idecided to redeem some of my points on Club Nintendo for the giant AR card since I enjoy the AR games app so much. I was pretty suprised when I got it in the mail yesterday because when I ordered it off CN I thought it said something about shipping will start mid August. Oh well, so I got it and I must admit it isn't as big as I thought it was going to be. It is pretty big, don't get me wrong, but not as big as I thought it'd be. It also isn't as thick paper as I thought it'd be, again not that big of a deal. I layed it on the floor after unfolding it and played around with it for a little bit, I am not sure if it was because there was a bit of a glare off the semi shiny finish off the car or what but it seemed somewhat laggy during some of the game play and I "lost" the card quite a few times. I am going to experiment in different light settings and such to see if these problems keep up. All in all, I'd sayit's a neat thing to have and mess around with.

Finally Picked Up Steel Diver.

I got this game today because I have not been able to find RE: Mercenaries yet and I was itching for a new game. Plus, I had my eye on this game for awhile. I really like simulation games, so it seemed like an easy pick. I have only played about an hour and a half of it so far, but I must admit, it is pretty addicting. I am really enjoying it. I'll definately post a review for it when I am done.

Somewhat Interesting Street Pass Story...

So today I was out running errands and stopped at Target, I normally make it a habit now a days of bringing my 3DS with me in hopes of getting a street pass tag. I have been in Target at least twice with my 3DS before today. Well I went by the electronics section in hopes of tagging someone there picking up a game or something, maybe even an employee. So I finish shopping and go back out to the car and check my 3DS, low and behold I had a street pass tag, her name was "jj" with blond hair and glasses and had an interesting greeting that I can't quite remember but didn't make much sense, and then showed me the title "she" had been playing recently and it was the Pilot Wings demo! Like I said earlier I have been in there twice to try and tag someone and even went up and played the 3DS and tried tagging it, but to no avail. Oh well, finally tagged it today. So after that I was headed to Costco which is only about a 5-10 minute drive from Target and between the time I left Target to go to Costco I had tagged another person! It was in the car too because I was picking up my 3DS right before going into Costco (have had a lot of success in there lol) and noticed the green light again and it said something like tagged 2 minutes ago. I thought it was pretty cool that it actually worked through a car, hahaha. That's it for now, just thought I would share my experience with you guys and inform you that Street Pass actually does work through a movingcar to another one.

Finally Beat Ridge Racer 3D!

Exactly two months after getting this game along with my 3DS I finally beat it. According to the Activity Log I logged 40 hours and 36 minutes in this game. I think that is a pretty good amount of time to get out of a game like this.I am thinking about starting to write reviews on here, but in case I decide against it, I will talk aboutthe gamea bit in this post. Overall I was pretty happy with the game. There is quite a bit of variety in the game, such as the number of cars, tracks, and different modes. There arethree different difficulties in story mode, and to be honest expert (the last and supposedly the hardest difficulty) wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Quite a few of the races in standard mode gave me more trouble then a lot of tracks on expert. The only really big problem I had with this game is that there is no online play. This is 2011, I think online play should pretty much be a standard by now. Other than that I am pretty happy with this game.

On a side note, I think I am going to start updating my blog fairly regularly now that I have the time and motivation to do so. Enjoy!

Wow, How Time Flies...

I was just going over my profile a minute ago, and realized it's been like a year and a half since I joined Gamespot :o. It doesn't feel that long AT ALL...that's crazy. Nothing else to say, just that my mind is blown by that :P.
