Ok before i get started i am fully aware that some games on the ps3 need to be installed to save load times.

but what i am really wondering is, what games do you guys have that needed to be installed?

I'm going to be getting a ps3 soon and i've been offered a 40gb ps3 for quite cheap and the only games i'd really want for it are the exclusives.

well his names ivo ''eggman'' robotnik or something like that. and if you noticed most of his machines did have ''egg'' in them, they either changed it to appeal to a new audience or they stuck with the nickname that he had.

Ok so i've recently took an interest again in sonic the hedgehog after reading some of the archie comics, that and my mate bought sega mega collections with the sonic games on.

And i came to wonder...What would make a good sonic game? And also why do they seem to suck?

so i'll compare the already compareble duo, Mario and sonic. Two of the most iconic figures of our time and whom are also the mascots for their companies.

And here's what gets me, super mario to me, has always been the same, princess gets kidnapped you save her.....sonic however having a ''sorta'' similar plot, tries to step away from stopping robotnik and ends up stopping allsorts of evil in the world, and i also find sonic to have more of a story and a bigger background.

so why is mario doing so well? And why is sonic falling short of what could be a waaay better franchise?

i know most people know the reason why sonic these days suck but what i want to know is.

What do you think would make a good sonic game?

do you think sonic should be 2D again?

do you think sonic still has a place in the 3D realm?

halo wars better than halo 2 and 3?

to be fair, when i first heard about a new halo...being an rts i was a bit skeptical. then i thought, oh maybe it could be good.

and then to my ''surprise'' when the demo came out. i thought i was an utter bad of w*nk, honestly, it has the worst base layout i've ever seen, no unit position placement, unable to mold units together, everything just clumps together when you order all units to attack soething so what could be a swift win, ends up taking 5 mins cos the warthogs or tanks are trapped behind ground units...*which is also another matter* the movements are unrealistic. gameplay is generally bad, the only things i found good about halo wars is unlimited money, graphics and the fact that you can rape and enemies with like....7 units of ODST soldiers...oh and co-op campaign.

honestly they really should have played command on conquer 3 before they made this. because with all honesty, that's way better than halo wars ¬_¬

.need more than 1 or 2 maps. at least 3-4, makes a pack.

.4 survivors are fine enough.

. no rocket launcher or flame thrower, it's Valve ffs, we need crow bars, there's litterally no melle weapons, so crowbars, planks of wood stuff like that. but a new weapon pack would be a good idea, because if you look at the back of the box, it promised 10 new weapons. and yes there are 10 weapons or even more all together, but it's such a lazy attempt, i mean shotgun/pump action shotgun, uzi/ M14, i mean aswell as more melee. maybe more pistols, differnet machine guns. ANYTHING other than explosive weapons

. i like the idea of new infected....but it would get annoying, cos if there where dogs or anything that could maul you...it'd just be worse than the hunter. besides, 4 special infected, 4 survivors. evens itself out doesnt it.

i think it was quite a reasonable score.

i mean, take this for example. The game is glitchy and broken, it's practically the same as mercs 1.

the graphics are good yes, but like i said, it's not a whole new experience.

gunfights are very sluggish and feels like a life time turning around.

vehicle handling seems to have gotten worse.

the AI seems to be even more dumb. but they accuracy is immense (hit by a tanks shell in a mid air jump?)

physics engine doesn't seem to have been tweaked at all, buildings still sink into the ground, and trees fall apart unnaturally,

and there are still no holes in the ground, seriously is it only battlefield and fracture the only ones that do that?

water dynamics are terrible, to me halo 3 still has the best water physics, and look, for the 360

so yeah, it's a pretty bad game and the demo aint exactly the bell of the ball either.
