So I got back from my sisters graduation Monday night, pretty rough. I had my final project in English due Wednesday; but I convinced my teacher that I didn't have time and there was no way I could make my presentation by Wednesday. Which is true, because I had to write the paper (at least 5 pages) on Tuesday night (the paper was also due Wednesday). I was scheduled to go first because my last name starts with A (ugh:( ) but I got it rescheduled because I explained that I was away all weekend at my sisters graduation from Cornell and couldn't have done it even if I wanted. So right now I'm scheduled to go this Tuesday. Sweet right?

Wrong!

I have plenty other things to be worrying about. I'm taking the SAT II in Physics and Math IC on Saturday morning which I started preparing for WAY too late, so I have to cram for that. And then I have Lacrosse tryouts on Sunday. My Health Final is on Monday (shouldn't be too bad lol). And my part of my Math and Spanish final are at the end of this upcoming week and go into the following wee. By then the NYS Regents test should be right around the corner so I'll have to study for that.

I'm just stressing myself right now :P. I have to go study, cya guys later!

ps. I jumped from 14% at LVL 6 yesterday, to 3% at LVL 7 today...weird!

Whew! Today's the day those of you who took the May 5th SAT can get their results online!

I've been told that colleges dont  really look at  the new writing  section of the SAT  as much as the other two parts which is good for me. So down to the numbers!

Out of a 1600 I got a:
1290

Out of 2400 I got a:
1760

More specifically;
Math - 720
Critical Reading - 570
Writing - 470 :(

So overall I'm pretty happy; I'm going to take it again in the fall so I'm hoping to improve the two English sections. 

 

My friend Kevin (SHUFFY8490) is  coming over in a few minutes, he actually thinks Marshall Law can beat Steve Fox...maybe I'll keep score to put on here.. :D This is gonna be a lot of fun. Looking forward to a 4-day weekend of being far far away from home.. not so happy about it but whatever, I'm in a good mood!

Hey everybody! I've been pretty busy lately so this is gonna be a pretty big post :D 

Sports 

Yep, we lost 6-5 in the second round of the playoffs yesterday. It really sucked because, despite of our 4-13 record going into the playoffs, we knew what we were capable of and we knew we could beat them (North Rockland)..Obviously we didn't; so now the season is over :(

On the bright side, only 6 seniors are graduating and only 4 of them really play. So we were a Junior heavy team; so next year I'm hoping for a much better season.

So next week I'm going to start working out again and start getting ready for my last season of high school football ever!

School

School is gettin rough toward the end of the year; alotta final projects, cumulative tests and whatnot. I'm currently working on my AP Lit Final Project. We have to research a author, playwright or poet and give a 10 minute presentation and a 7 page paper. :cry:

On June 2, (10 days :cry: ) I'm taking the SAT II in Physics and Math IC. I haven't gotten around to preparing that much because I've been busy with alotta other stuff so I'm gettin pretty scared about that. But once I get past that I only have the Physics Regents, Pre-Calc Final, Spanish Final, and US History Regents.

According to Collegeboard.com the SAT scores from the May 5th test should be on the internet tomorrow. Im excited but I'm also pretty scared; Im hopin/shootin for a 1250. (excluding writing). Well Im still gonna take it in the Fall again anyway.

WOO!

My Lacrosse team won again today..so we are now 4-13!  Lol yeah I know its horrible but now our coach will let us in the playoffs!
We beat Putnam Valley 12-5. It was a good game; so hopefully now we have some momentum going into the playoffs. Im really excited. The first round is this monday, on saturday I'm going on a college visit thing in Philly. Which brings us to our next point...

College!: Okay so I signed up for the premium account on US News.com so I have a lot of good resources and information for a LOAD of schools. My little list of schools in that are currently: (in order)

Villanova Univeristy
Boston University
Virginia Tech
Drexel University
Universtiy of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
Northeastern University
SUNY - Stony Brook

Okay so those are my list of schools I'm currently interested in (in order). I want to go to college to become an engineer. Im bouncing it between Aerospace, Mechanical, and Civil. I'm not sure yet but I've narrowed it down.

I haven't posted in a while so heres whats new:

Well my Lacrosse team finally one another game; we have 3 wins and have double digit losses..I have a good feeling about next season though (my senior year :D). We were supposed to have our last game today which we would have needed to win to get into the playoffs. However, there were tornado warnings and what not (apparently) and it got postponed till tomorrow. Oh well, a day of rest is always welcomed!

Yeah so I took the AP Lit test back on the 10th, anyone take it? I thought it was kinda hard; well I'm pretty bad at English so it makes sense.

So I FINALLY hit a homerun in softball today (in gym); I've been in a drought this spring lol. Last year I was pretty dominant, but this year...not so much. And for some reason I can't throw a softball, maybe cuz its too big..I dunno.. I'm about to ramble about college but I think it deserves its own post...

I'll save it for later

Hey everyone,

Monday's are probably the worst day of the week IMO, and today holds no different.

I had to sit on the floor on the bus again because it's too crowded and I'm the last stop in the morning..whatever. I'm taking the AP Lit test on Thursday so we did some work in English (1st period) (I'm very scared for that test).

Recently we got a test back in Math class and the teacher (who's a good guy); wrote on my paper 'maybe we should divide the grade by two?', implying that me and my girlfriend were cheating. He has a good sense of humor so I figured it was a joke. Of course...he wasn't. I checked Parent Connect (a program thing my school has so you can see your grades) and it went from the 96 that I got...to a 48 (out of 100). I quickly calculated my average and it's a 73 with this 'half grade'. As opposed to my usual high 90's...This is not good.:(

6th period (Spanish) rolls around and there was a sub! So we got to go to the computer lab and I got to fool around with Encarta for the whole period.:D

After school, we had a game at Fox Lane HS. Unfortunately we lost....AGAIN. The score was 12-8; I had a pair of goals. It just seems like our team runs out of energy and we just think 'oh, here we go again'. During the game I got slashed in the neck with the opponents stick and now it looks like a hickey; It's going to be hard to defend this one tomorrow..:? I was pretty angry after the games so I'm trying not to vent too much right now..

Random..I want a Rubik's Cube...no real reason...I just do. :D

I finally got to work on Gamespot and my signature specifically. I'm finally a level 3 so I could put in userbars and stuff. I think I have 6, I'm gonna try to get a picture in there to change it up a little bit. I'll check out some other users' sigs to get an idea of what I could do.

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to play Morrowind again. I'm still on the first main storyline quest; I got side tracked because I decided to make myself a house just outside of Balmora in the Construction Set. Gotta get back on track!

Idk if i said this in my last blog post but I joined the 'Final Fantasy Confederation' and the 'Elder Scrolls Elite' Unions yesterday. So I'm gonna check them out and see what unions are all about.
Still learning!

Okay well I'm gonna go to bed now..I'm pretty sore lol.

The New York Rangers got eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs today.

Not good for my buddy Sean, I hope he's alright tomorrow..lol

Otherwise this past weekend was pretty good...

On Friday I had Lacrosse practice like I always do, came home and studied a little bit (half hour lol) for the SAT (more on that in a minute) the next morning. I was gettin myself all crazy and getting myself nervous so I wound up staying home and playing some Morrowind.

The next day (Saturday) I got up and took the laborious 4 hour hell exam...also known as the SAT. I guess it wasn't as bad as I anticipated but my ass was killing me afterwards. I kind of made up a story about a uncle (who I don't have) and how he was a gambler...anyways; it sucked.

Afterward my friends Kevin Michael Duffy (that's his real name, I call him Shuffy..long story. (His username is SHUFFY8490 IIRC)) and Sean Paul Muir came over. We had a good time, played some NHL 2K6, Tekken 5 (which I dominated Shuffy at)(Yoshimitsu is amazing). We went outside for a bit, played some hockey, football, and played with the hose....

It was fun day.

Sunday rolls around and I slept till 10 which was very nice; haven't done that in a while. I did some homework and found out alot about userbars. That took up a chunk of time. I've made some, animated some; and I'll be able to put 'em in my sig by tomorrow when I'll be a Level 3 (right now I have 50% on Level 2). In addition to all the cool userbar stuff, I created my banner for my profile page. I copied an image from the Morrowind website (of a Daedric Sword) and pasted it into paint; and edited it a little bit. (Ugh, I didn't get to play Morrowind this weekend.) I ran into some trouble when trying to put it in because it was a .bmp image. So I made an account on photobucket, put it there and loaded it from photo bucket. Bada bing. I had practice from 5-7, and there was my weekend.

    Hey everyone my name is Kyle and welcome to my first ever blog. I'm a junior in highschool, I play football and lacrosse, I like to play videogames (of course!) and hang out with my friends.
