Did you really list Left4Dead2, the sequel to the game that took Valve from being a top tier developer, and left Blizzard standing alone with the crown?

Live offers marks that don't live in the city an opportunity to piss away their money on a three card monte analog, and feel like they're getting something because the grifter looks slick.
I wouldn't act as though it's confirmed, but I don't think it's totally out of the question that M$ might increase their live fees, particularly once(if) the economy turns around and we get to experience some nice fat inflation.
Tough luck. I always play through Battle.net, whether it be a local match or otherwise. Battle.net is just a better experience, especially since WC3.

You are paying MicroSoft $50 a year (or whatever they charge).
They are also making tons of money off of advertising space that the advertisers know you see.
That is a scam if I ever saw one. I hope this means free XBL is coming, then I might consider buying a 360.
