Ray City

For a week now i try this new FREE MMO from Asiasoft and EA Korea and i cant find nothing to bother me except for the fact it does not accept , yet, European credit cards or at least pay-pal.

For those of you who can't wait for the APB release date you can certainly try a few hours with this. Of course Ray City does not provide the APB's level of modding and customisation but between the quests , the races and the share pleasure of doing a stretch (a small linear race between 2 players without any XP points or money, for the only purpose of seeing who's got the better car) with a friend, the game provides you with enough excitement to keep you playing.

Microsoft Project Natal prototype caught in wild

This article was posted on www.slashgear.comand i thought to bring this to everyone who tracks me here. For me is great news, since E3 last year I'm waiting to hear this news so I am kinda ecstatic.

"We can't give you a launch date or a price for Microsoft's Project Natal motion-sensing gaming controller, but we can show you a picture of one of the prototypes. According to the Seattle Times, this Gorillapod-mounted contraption is the prototype Natal hardware that Microsoft gave out to game developers.

Project NATAL

According to DigiTimes, Pegatron have been granted the manufacturing contract for the Project Natal controller that will eventually sit on store shelves. They'll apparently begin production later in 2010.Project Natal uses an RGB camera, depth sensor, multi-array microphone and custom processor, which together can not only track gamer movement in 3D space but respond to verbal commands, too. We've no specific release date at present, but Microsoft have confirmed that it will arrive in the holiday 2010 window."

The much awaited "Google Phone" is here !

It is speculated (by the guys at Engadget) that the phone in the pictures below would be the much awaited "Google phone" the iPhone's direct competitor. That is believed mainly because it was distributed, in the last couple of days, for testing to Google employees.More likely this phone developed by HTC and called the Nexus One, is only a smart-phone with Android (Android 2.1) that will be available unlocked to an international scale just like G1 and Magic distributed by Google as "Dev Android Phones" .

However this smart-phone, just like his brother HTC Bravo/Passsion, is well above the specifications of other phones currently available on the market: 1GHz processor, 3.7 inch OLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480, GPS compass, accelerometer and 5 MP camera with HD video recording.

If 2010 starts with phones like Nexus One, Xperia X10, HTC Passion and Motorola Sholes Tablet than i see good times ahead for the smartphone fans.

And as a plus, in the end, i have to say that there are already reports that Apple has begun production of the 4th generation iPhones and iPhone OS 4.0 is on the tests.

Finally Windows 7RC (Release Candidate) is out and we can finally try it, but, for those of you, my friends,who still hesitate, i can honestly say that this one is a keeper.

* 1 GB RAM (32-bit) / 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

* 16 GB available disk space (32-bit) / 20 GB (64-bit)

* DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

If one thinks is ready to try it, please feel free to try this at: MICROSOFT.com

Windows 7 RC from 5 May ?

The subscribers of Microsoft TechNet and MSDN can already download the Windows 7 RC, and the general public will have access to it from May 5 - this news was published by Neowin.net website yesterday. The site even showed a screen-shot of the page from where to download Windows 7 RC:

Win 7 Hoax

Well, this news is not true. This news is either a hoax, or some sort of marketing move ... The truth is that the download page on Microsoft TechNet shows no new version of Windows 7 RC. What could be the point ?

Publisher: Please give us back our illegal weapons

FUUUUUUNY story my mates. I laughed mylungs out today reading this :

"Pens? Snore. T-shirts? Boring. Notepads? Been there, done that. Thinking up creative ideas for promotional tchotchkes can't be easy, but someone at uber-publisher Electronic Arts went a little too far last week.The game in question: Godfather II, a Grand Theft Auto-style adventure based on the famous movie. The offending item: a set of brass knuckles, mailed to video games journalists together with other goodies including a cigar, a silk handkerchief, and a book of matches. But while it nicely complements the game's mafiosi theme, it also had the unfortunate side-effect of turning recipients of the mailing into criminals, as mere possession of brass knuckles is illegal in many states and can carry hefty penalties.

After blog GamePolitics expressed its consternation, the publisher began a flurry of hush-hush phone calls to arrange the return of the weapons. EA declined to comment beyond expressing a desire to assist journalists in proper disposal of the items." Talk about how dum' can u get . By the way I finished this game and is not all bad, is just released to quick. If you are not a fan of the series, and i include here the movies to, i suggest you NOT to buy it.

Multiple DLC releases might be the future

I came across this today, drinking my morning coffee ;-) , and i thought toshare it with you mates.

"Bethesda's experiment of releasing download content for Fallout 3 in smaller chunks might be the next wave of the future for many titles. Based on a principle of providing substantive, but not excessive expansion to the title, seems to be the ticket for sales.

With Fallout 3, Bethesda experimented with the release and sale of download content that for $10 provided multiple expansions that took most gamers 4 to 5 hours to complete. It seems that the idea of going in this direction has led to more sales and satisfaction for gamers than one large higher priced expansion pack.

Because the amount of content in these smaller expansions takes less time to develop, the developer is able to get them out to market more quickly when the title is still closer to the high point in sales, when players are still playing the game."

Is this a great thing or not ? Please tell me from a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being the best, what do you think about this.
