Wow, you guys are really not understanding what you're seeing. You're saying the PS3 comparison pics are zoomed more. No guys, there is a regular pic for both consoles, then a zoomed pic for both consoles. Hover your mouse over the console's name at the bottom of the screenshot, FFS. And read the damn text at the top next time before you espouse conspiracy theories about zooming pics because they're bought off by Sony. Honestly, I didn't know what the fudge you were talking about, because they give the 360 the advantage, until I realized that you DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE THE DAMN FEATURE.
Douglass, you wish your name was APFlopsy so then some of my radiant awesomeness would rub off in your direction. LordInvernus, thanks for helping to prove my point. I could buy a brand new xbox and have it RRoD 8 times, and never have them fixed, for the cost of 1 PC that could chug Fallout at some basic settings.
Say what you want about the graphical prowess of PCs. If you want to get there, you need to stay on top of the evolving hardware and shell out loads of cash and then monkey with settings until it's tweaked right for your rig. The existence of this article is evidence of that. How much would that recommended system cost? $1000? If we're lucky? And that's just for now. When will I have to spend more or downgrade my settings? Next year? 6 months? Or how much money for even that minimum system? How much did my 360 cost? $200. No, $800 more expensive, ongoing costly upgrades and a constant pain in the sack is not a compelling case for marginally superior graphics and mods.
