Exactly what I was thinking. The graphics have never been Halo's selling point, but the amount of jaggies visible in those screens is kind of embarrassing. :( I hope it does improve as much as some of you think it will. A flagship titles first outing on a new console should look spectacular.

Nobody is crying. If Halo 3 is bad I just won't buy a 360. No sweat off my sack. I watched the video and still didn't think it looked very good. It should look better than it does.  

Why should it look better than it does?  Did Bungie tell you it would?

As a multimedia hub/modder's dream - PS3

As a gaming machine - 360

For these reasons, in theory I would prefer the PS3, but Halo 3 trumps ALL.

Depends if you have a media center pc or not.  If you do, I'd give the multimedia hub advantage to the 360 because of it's dvr and computer streaming capabilities.

Not with DRM and Microsoft policing bullcrap.  PS3 is pretty wide open.  Still, the best multimedia hub is the original Xbox.

i have a 360. for me i like the feel of the controller more and the contol layout works for me. i actually dont like motion sensor (can be turned off i know). When GS did a graphic comparison, 360's graphics were crisper. it makes me mad because sony copied microsoft so many times.

I do. All this talk about gameplay > graphics is true but it's getting rediculous. Just because gameplay > graphics doesn't mean graphics = unimportant. It makes the experience more enjoyable and more fun when the graphics are great and there is allot of eyecandy. 

exactly.  graphics are just as important as gameplay if you ask me.  they are the first thing that draws you into a game.  they are the first thing you see in previews and everything.  i mean you dont get to try out the gameplay before you experience the graphics. 

it is the next gen people.  if you didnt care about graphics then you wouldnt have gotten a 360 or ps3.  i think the people who say that graphics are unimportant are only trying to sound cool or to act like they arent the "noobs."  god i hate using that word.

True, but Halo 3's graphics do look Next Gen.  So its a win win.

No one can deny the fact that there is not a game yet on PC that looks better than Gears of War......and no one can deny the fact that Gears of War would look better on the PC....and that Crysis will make Gears of War look like crap.

So both sides have an argument.  Xbox has the powerhouse graphics game now, but the PC hardware is more than capable of crushing it with the same or better developers.
