My E3 judgement, who won this year conference?

The Big 3 just finish their conference, who won to the top and who is at the bottom of the gaming food chain. All 3 companies offered gamers what to look for in 2001-2012, something were good, and some were not interesting. This will be my "2 cent" about the big 3 conference and what I think of it, with that, it's time to give my thoughts.
Microsoft:
I sense a deja vu on their conference, it's like the same pattern as last year, first they showed Call of Duty game, then some 1st party hardcore games, then Xbox dashboard updates, then Kinect games, and a surprise in the end, weird.Nothing personal, but First Person Shooters are really not a cup of tea of mine, whether the game is good or not, I care not, so watching Call ofDuty: Modern Warfare 3 is not interested no matter what, sorry. The only things that was interested to me were Gears of War 3, it look good, I played the other two.The other intersting part is xbox NXE update, I thing in my opinion they made it more friendly use and copied the window phone format and add new features that supposed to make it friendly use.Kinect games was not interesting and focus on casual, not bad, but appealing wouldn't last long.Dance Central look interesting, but for now since I don't have a Kinect, is not something for me a must have.Last is the big suprise, Halo 4, just like CoW games, I don't care, all I can say is whoopie and I know the fans are happy that Halo still continues.Overall, not bad conference, but not alot of interesting that catch my eyes.
Sony:
They never cease to amaze me, there is always something intriguing for me, perhaps since I like SCE and that I bought their console since the PSX days.I loved the game announcement that will come in 2011-2012, GoW: Origin and ICO:HD (which planning to get), a new Sly game finally and new game that could interest me called, Medieval Gladiator: Denmund's Quest, which I thought it was a sequel to Medievil. There were some games that support PS Move, but I prefer traditional, thank goodness for making it an option, not mandatory like Wii games. Then comes PSPVita, the PSP successor, I think it look interesting and the games offer were not shabby, but already seen on console, except Ruin, but there is a PS3 version al well, but not bad.The game that surprise me is Street FighterXTekken for the PSPVita, which will guest star Cole from Infamous, Kratos was in Soul Caliber and Mortak Kombat, so why not another SCEA hero, perhas on the long run there could SCExCapcom, heh, heh... The biggest prop and respect I like to address is the PSN Outage, Jack and Kaz apologize to the fans about this event and that to me shows respect and humble for ppl who supported SCE, respect from me, awesome. It was more interesting that Microsoft and the PSPVita could be a competition to the Nintendo 3Ds due to the price point with is $249.99, same as the Nintendo 3DS, but that will be another blog, when I explain my 2 cent on PSPVita vs. Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo:
The Nintendo Wii U, some called it the Wii HD and some say the successor to the GameCube which once again they are focusing to the hardcore. The innovation, the control has it's own screen, it can be used as a second screen or to play game on the screen like Remote Play with the PS3 & PSP, but just more better, I think. In the conference, it was confusing if it was the controller was the console itself, but there is a console and you can see it on their Nintendo E3 site, they just didn't show it at the conference, since they just announce it, of course they wouldn't tell more about it, but in due time. The question is, is it a hardcore system, judging by the developers, I say yes, it look like it.Well for now let's see if Nintendo will give more info on later year(s) since it won't come out until 2012.The 3Ds finally has good games that is interesting to me, Mario Kart, Luigi's Mansion 2, Super Mario 3d, and Kid Icarius are some of the games that I'm getting excited, it makes me have a reason to get the 3Ds, but I hope with the competition to PSPVita that the 3Ds could go down in price, but then I have to wait till the end of the year where PSPVita will be release.Interesting part is the celebration of the Zelda franchise, I love the orchestra music which will be used in the latest Zelda game Skyward Sword and thank goodness it will be on the Wii, not what they did with Twilight Princess, release 2 version.Overall I am happy what Nintendo offer for gamers and that they gave a reason for gamers to get a 3Ds.
Who won E3 2011?
3rd is Microsoft, there were not alot of games am I interested and they did what last year conference was, the same pattern, not alot Kinect games I like and Halo 4 did not save the conference.
2nd is SCE, even the PSPVita is interesting and offer some good games, for me is not a must by, perhaps since I didn't grow with SCE (rather w/ Nintendo)The HD collection are good, but only if you don't have the games yet.New way to play old franchise is nice, again needs some new and original.
Nintendo won E3 this year for me, not because of Wii U since it just announce, but the games on the 3Ds that appealed to me, yes, they are old and unoriginal, but is the games are fun, I don't minds, I love those franchise and overall, at heart, I'm a Nintendo Fanboy, grew up playing Super Mario Bros.
All of them offered something, but judges of what games gamers prefer tell who could be a victor in the conference and again this year, 2011 Nintendo offered something interesting to me, congrats to Nintendo.

I just saw the Nintendo Conference and Reggie announced what ppl were waiting for, with that, IMO the price is expensive, at least would be nice if it was $199.99. No portable gaming system should cost more than $200, but that my opinion. That's it for now...
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, cool game or something a niche?
by AXE325XXEXE on Comments
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroesis supposed to come this week, but apparently, it is something hard to find. Really, really, REALLY CAPCOM, a "wait and see" strategy? This game can't be found in a Target, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc...,and the sad part is only certain Gamestop have this game, but Samurai Warriors 3 (which IMO is better, even if it's only for the Wii (wish it was on the PS3 or Xbox360)) can be found easily. I thought this type of procedure was something in the past like buying SNK games for the PS2, some of them weren't available in big stores. I guess Capcom don't have the confident on this game. For fans who actually got the game, nice, for the rest who would like to play this game, have patient.
For gamers who are in the dark about this franchise, it is a hack 'n' slash game like their competition Samurai Warriors from Koei. Capcom decided to do there own version, the first game was decent and the quality were low than Samurai Warriors and when it was localized, they made it even less quality and changing the premise thinking that Western audience wouldn't understand and failed, as a result the sequel never made until Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes. It always been that Koei's version are superior to Capcom's version, until this game, but even so, it's still hard to find this game, I guess in Capcom perspective, this game is a niche with mediocre reviews. Really, really Capcom...
Quick thoughts on Sony E3 conference and conclusion.
by AXE325XXEXE on Comments
Sony's presentation was great, rivaled to Nintendo, but Kevin Bulter's motivation speech made more interesting than Reggie's(nothing personal). Playstation Move looks interesting than Kinect, the game Sorcery's Apprentice look that it could rival the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, of course this are my opinions only. There are games I would mind playing like Sly Collection, GoW: Ghost of Sparta, and Sorcery's Apprentice. The most interesting part of the presentation is "Exclusive", it's interesting that EA and Ubisoft gives the exclusive to Sony, from add-ons to limited edition, I guess Sony have very good relation with the other companies, even Value, that was a big surprise from me. Gabe Newell from Value wasn't supportive of PS3 until now, when he appeared at the presentation with Portal 2, that was a surprised, but more surprise is the return of Twisted Metal, an awesome presentation and a good ending on the conference. Overall, the conference for Sony is more appealing and the games they offer got me interest, with that...how would I rank this years presentation...
Starting with Microsoft in last place(sorry), it may not be "Mehtendo", but Kinect as the main feature wasn't that interesting, the games were too casual, except for Star Wars, but don't get me wrong, I like casual games, but it just no interest to me, almost like Nintendo's Wii series like Sports, Play, Music, etc... In 2nd place, I hate to say it, Nintendo is in that rank, they got great hardcore games, from Zelda, Donkey, and Metroid and love to play them, but in the presentation didn't make an impact to me, it's good that they talk less about business and more games. I guess what I wanted was an update to the Wii like if we get an achievement system or a price drop on DS systems, perhaps, a mishap to the Zelda demo, I don't know. This means in my perspective, Sony once again showed something great, Kevin Bulter, Gabe Newell, PS Move and PSN plus got me more interested, maybe it's something new to Sony. In conclusion:
1st: Sony
2nd: Nintendo
3rd: Microsoft
,but perhaps, which on the might to their own presentation and get more info on the products they offer, but no matter what they always offer something better for the gaming community.
