Chrono Trigger, Starcraft, SSB Melee, Gears of War and Fable. These are all games I don't think I would ever get rid of.

Oh, and add Planet Puzzle League to that list.

I believe they are both going to be good, but I can't tell you which is better till they come out.

I believe the game actually got the AO rating for much more than mere violence.

[QUOTE="JaviBonilla23"]Crackdownpetrolhead

no way crackdown is one of my most played games. now that there is download content it has more stuff to do.

Agreed. I love Crackdown, and now they have the resurect gang members feature, I'mplaying through the next difficulty with my agent fullly powered up and loving it. I also own Gears, which I love, but Crackdown has been sitting in my tray since I started playing it.

I'd actually prefer a sequal to Rogue Trip. Funny game created by the makers of the first 2 Twisted Metal games, it was like those games except with a bit more of a point: you had to take tourists to different areas to let them take pictures while fighiting of the other drivers.

The weapons were even more insane. My personal favorite was the meteor storm.

Seems like a really weak thing to complain about. It's a store policy put into effect to keep M rated games out of children's hands. Not a bad thing in my book. Granted you'll never get that 10 seconds of your life back, but if your time is that valuable then playing video games probably can't be too high up there.

Regardless of whether or not it's silly or inconvenient, if more retailers did this we wouldn't have problems with the government and parental activist groups everytime a game like GTA or Manhunt 2 came out. Seems like a pretty small price to me.

Couldn't agree more. I'm sorry, but who really cares if they card you? It's not like they aren't going to sell you the game. If it is store policy to card everyone, then they need to card everyone.

A couple of other things:

1) Gamestop's policy of gutting games comes theft issues. They would much rather have people walk off with an empty case then a game.

2) As for the person complaining about what happened when they didn't bring their ID, I used to b e a reatail manager, and if one of my employees had given something to you just because you said you were the person without having ID, I would have had some serious words with said employee. You cannot expect a retailer to just take your word on that.

Thought this was probably the best place for thie since GH3 will be multi-platform.

Am I the only one who hasn't been that impressed with the game footage from Guitar Hero 3? I've looked at a few of the songs now, and I just don't like what I am seeing.

What set GH apart from other rhythm games was the almost organic feel of the game. You really began to feel like you were playing the songs themselves, and the rock-meter and frett board added to that feel.

Now Activision goes for a redesign that just...ugh, I don't like the look of it. The new rock-meter looks awful, the star-power meter is really sad, and what's with this "whammy" mechanic? Either it's just a really sad replacement for the way the old whammy worked, or they are actually going to require you to hit the bar at certain points in the game, which breaks that mechanic. Also, it looks like the timing has been messed with. Granted, that will not really be confirmed till playing it, but it does not seem to flow like the earlier installments did.

Harmonix did an amazing job when they created GH 1&2. Unfortunately, it looks like Activision may be so keen on putting its fingerprints all over the game that it may ruin what should be a long lasting franchise.

There have been times when I have gotten frustrated by a particular level or game. I find it's often best when this occurs to walk away from the game for a bit and do something else. My mind will keep processing things in the background while I watch TV or read, and I will often come back refreshed with a new way to tackle the level, and that helps me finally beat it.

I'm assuming you are refering to the recent version for PS3 and 360, right? If so, absolutely not. The game is horrible.

i think game developers should stick to RTS, FPS, and point and click adventure games, imo any other genres don't feel right. DMC on PC? i'd rather not break my keyboard thank you.dante_123456

I will agree that certain games don't translate well to PC, but others are made for it. The best dungeon crawlers are for the PC as well.

I can't imagine trying to play Diablo or Hellgate:London on a console.
