The faster routers generally don't have on the box "I will heat up quite quickly and drop connection more frequently than slower ones". It's just the faster the router is pulsing out data the hotter it becomes and less stable it is, they have terrible cooling all of them. PS3 uses Wireless G which as you said is 54mbps and just use whichever one you feel is better, if you want blinding speed use the 300mbps one. Try to find which way the air goes through the router and position it to take as much cool air in and hot air out as you can, i have mine on the floor leaning against the wall to keep it at it's coolest. If you are keeping the router at the slower setting and no devices in your home actually use N then yeah use G it'll be more reliable and won't provide any disadvantages to any device. Plus if you get a nice new device which has N built in then you have it when needed.JohnF111

Thanx this was real helpful It's starting to perform on the low G setting it's been stable and yeah I want to keep it around because if I do get something 5 G or some devices that can maintain that 300 connection I will have it here. For now the G setting is helping me and my brother stablize on our separate PS3s. Now since kinda know what I am doing I'm torn between the ****** 600 N db I use to have and this Netgearwndr3400

I agree the ****** I had wasn't too bad but the bandwidth and connection rate sold me on this one. So far with it going slow (from 300mpbs to 54mpbs on the 2.4ghz)it seems to be working out but I still want to know if I am on to something here and having a smoother connection.

So far I have been through 3 N routers already testing them out and trying to get a superior connection for my PS3 online gaming needs. I have the netgear 600 wndr3400 which has been performing awful when I put it in different modes and had a ****** N 600 db which wasn't bad but wasn't what I thought it was (might be on me). After doing research I figured the PS3 and most things in this generation can only get a max transmission of 54mpbs while these routers advertise 300. After trying the different high powered 145mpbs and 300mpbs modes I keep getting drops, lags and unstable connection. What I have discovered and read is slower is better...so I set the router to 54mpbs and it seems to be performing well with everything. I haven't tried my PS3 but my laptop and zune, TV and etc have been notiably better and I'mhoping the bandwidth on this "powerful" router can support the connection where drops are minimal. If anyone knows routers could this be the way to go?

I was wondering if anyone can recommend powerline connections for gaming because I am tired of wireless gaming when I have to share the connection with 2 other gamers and people downloading things in my house. Plus the wireless connections are sometimes shakey. I heard powerlines are an alternative and I was wondering if this would be the answer I need to have a faster and stabler connection rate online?

With CODMW3 around the corner is it still worth it to get this rendition of Call of Duty?

Animenewsnetwork (if you google an anime their section on it is usually number 1 or 2) has a list of people who worked on an anime.

If you scrol down on an anime info page you can find the Eng distributers info (and see if it has Eng Voice acters)

They also list recent news links related to that anime (like if a dubber picked it up)

Some sites with lots of Dubs are funimations video site (if its not dubed their, then it is/will be dubbed)

I can't exactly give illegal dub site, but googleing for JUST DUBS might get you a sight that speciallises in only dubs;)

lol thx bro

I hate reading rather read a book. I just want to hear and decode rather than read and pay attention to the art and action.

I know the game has been out for a rather long time and I traded it months ago due to fustration. Now I'm playing Tekken 6 and Mortal Kombat so I'm starting to get that itch back. However I remember there is no player match so would it be a mistake to join again because of how advance the community has probably gotten?
