@dancmou: It's because the vast majority of media is liberal and pushes an agenda. So when they don't, it's refreshing to some. I'm waiting for a game that uses the LGBT as the enemy of mankind, let's see how the gaming media reacts. Can you guess what it would be?
@gleencross: Makes one appreciate the greatness that is Christopher Nolan. Offer him a billion dollars and complete creative control of the DC Universe and get out of the way. Guy just knows how to put a story together with real emotion and visuals that don't like it's always midfreakingnight. There are so many modern directors that suck, all the Scorsese's, Coppola's, Ridley's, the true giants of storytelling, no longer have a place in big movies with the exception of Nolan, who will be judged amongst the greats when all is said and done.
I really like the forward thinking MS does with their consoles. They've been the ones that have pushed the industry forward, and they continue to do so. Interactivity was the next logical step, and its MS that's going to be pushing that the most out of all 3 consoles. I like all the consoles, and will likely get them all, but I am liking what MS is doing pushing this aspect of home entertainment in a hard way.
I'm with many of you on the design, but it does have a certain charm because it harks back to the original Xbox, giving a weird retro vibe. What no one can question, regardless of some of the reactionary negativity, is that the hardware is damned impressive.
