As the author of the original interview, I'm utterly appalled to see Suzuki-san's words twisted so much for controversy's sake.
He simply made a joke (hence the laugh) when I asked about possible contacts with Microsoft prior to the deal with Sony, as the question *explicitly* mentions.
He did not tease in any shape or form "xbox one plans" nor he "subtly implied the project could eventually come to Xbox One."
He simply did not. Nothing of that is included in the interview, in the question (I never asked about an Xbox One port. The possibility was not even mentioned) or in the answer.
I'd invite readers to ignore that part of this article, because it's false and disingenuous.
