Unions

When I join a union. I expect that union to be sound in its bearings. Perhaps the best of the best. Not just a random assortment of average players and guys who just want the extra posts. I understand the need for unions but if they encourage stupidity and hatred among members, why don't we just cut them. I was browsing through the unions recently and a good percentage of the posts on any site would say things like "lol" or "Roy's teh best!" instead of a more educated and eloquent statement or something that actually shows knowledge about a game. Perhaps I'm asking for too much. Or perhaps I'm asking for too little. But I just wish that I can find a forum where people are serious about gaming... or ....something? I don't know. Maybe it's the lack of sleep talking but the next time I read someone say..."Roy sux...Marth is teh best" or "Lol, I luv randomuzer478298" in a post about the detrimental effects of video gaming on your hands, eyes, and sleep patterns, I will....I will...I'll probably just post right after them.

43 days and counting

Well, let's see. Where to begin. It seems that all I've been blogging about is the wii so I guess this is nothing new. My heart feels heavy with anticipation of putting my hands aroung this awesome wii controller as I play the new Zelda. It should be pretty dope as hell. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Okay, so a meaningless blog, but a blog none the less.

Almost time for the Wii!!!

Hm, so with the Wii's newest channels. I have a feeling that Microsoft and Sony are starting to squirm in their seats about its up and coming launch. After getting over my initial skepticism over the channels, I discovered that this may just be the most novel thing in the world. Perhaps in Japan they already have content such as this but here in America they don't. This may be the reason behind the later release in Japan. On top of this, the channels are very well made from what I can see. I've also looked up the Opera browser that Nintendo has began to implement in their systems(DS and Wii) and it is probably the most versatile thing ever. Once my friend told me that no matter what Nintendo decides to do, they usually do it well. For instance the voice chat on the DS is far superior to the more graphically powerful Xbox 360. Which in a way shows how much time Nintendo puts into their software and how other companies(Microsoft) take things such as voice chat for granted. On another note, I'm sure that the DVD player within the Wii will not only be quick but also the interface for playing movies will be the best one out there. On top of that, I doubt there will be any sound emitting from my Wii when I play it and if there is, it'll be minimal. Also, I hope to god there are no load times as due to Nintendo's history. Because I swear if I have to sit through load times on the new Zelda..I will throw my controller out the window. After playing Oblivion on the 360, load times have me really pissed off. Anyways, with the Wii sporting its free online service, channels, controller, and also a web browser for a set price which I bet will be cheap as hell, I think on the cosmetic side at least, Nintendo will be on top of the competition. Now with only a month or so left, and Sony having stolen one of Nintendo's ideas already, what will they have to compete against the big N's awesome power? Well Sony? The clock's ticking.

Why I love them so.

I finally realize why I love video games so much. I was playing SSBM this morning and getting my butt handed to me over and over. This is rare since I'm conisidered one of the top 5 at my school. Anyway, after playing a couple of off games. I stopped. And my heart was racing and I was really excited. Then I realized that Video games make me feel....alive! Thank you mr. Miyamoto.

Revolution controller

What is that?! I said as I examined the pics of this ungodly device. Why had someone made a tv remote into a super next next gen video gaming device? Ludicrous! Unacceptable! Intolerable! I uttered curses as I watched the different colors of this hideous contraption spanned before me. These were my initial thoughts as I watched the new idea for next gen gaming. I was skeptical to say the very least, however, in Nintendo's loving fashion, it began to grow on me. What an ingenious idea! This will change all life as we know it. The next generation will have to get cooking if you want to hang out with the big N this go around. Cuz if you don't, you're cooked.

I love you Nintendo........
