Jeff was a true asset to gamespot, firing someone like him definitely shows how stupid CNet and the GS Directorate is.

Hey guys, Okay, so when I press the "Updates" button next to the "Massages" button it takes me to the freinds' update section rather than game updates, and if I click the button manually through my profile the same thing pops up. Is it just me, or is there something wrong here? Thanks

That monitor is a great deal, you don't find 24" LCD's in that price range which perform even better than the 600$ ones. For PC and gaming purposes (includes hooking up a console) its damn good in its category (24").

You should be able to run it but don't expect it to look really good. Low-Medium specs maybe.

All you need a HDMI to DVI switch/cable. See this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irdoe_SG__Q The one he's using he's pretty handy, you can connect a 360, PS3 and your PC on one monitor. There are separate ports for sound on the switch itself, as for the quality, you won't lose much but there will be a tiny difference. So I'd recommend getting a switch.

I would say get a Q6600, those things are pretty cheap for being quad core. ($289...I think) But if you want dual then E6750 is a good choice, using it myself. If you're thinking of overclocking then it ain't the best, might wanna ask someone else for that.

You can fit an 8800GT in there, but not a GTS since it takes two slots. Beware though, the GT needs some serious cooling, coz the cooler it has on it ain't so efficient.

If you have the money, then go for it! It will boost your frames in those high end games coming out soon. But then again, the 9 series is right around the corner, so...your choice.

It is indeed possible but I'd recommend you build it yourself. Its fairly easy and fun for the most part.
