Why you should be anticipating Bully 2's release

After the release of Max Payne 3, it is likely that R* will be concentrating on Bully 2 but why should you care and more importantly, why should you pick Bully up on Steam or in the bargain bin if you haven't played it back in 2006 or 2008?

It's different

The video game industry lacks variety and ideas. There are settings, themes, stories, character archetypes and gameplay elements so overly used that they become cliché and predictable. There is the FPS silent hero type, the RPG protagonist who embarks on a journey to save the world, the sci-fi and convoluted plot twist and several others that you have surely spotted on your own. At the counter end of the spectrum, though, are unexploited areas that R* and few others dare to explore and Bully is the quintessence of such intrepid enterprises. It's actually hard to pigeonhole Bully if you think about it. It's a sub-genre on its own when ignoring the borrowed gameplay elements from GTA games.

It's a game with high production values

R* has always come up with high-quality games and Bully is no different.

It shows that R* can create a charming game without relying on guns and explosions

R* is often associated with mindless murder and irresponsible driving. Although being very much like GTA games in terms of satire and gameplay, it does not feature gore. It is a game that is centered on children and yet, it is not puerile. It features some form of violence that is not excessive.

Fans of the game should also check this article out.

I feel at home when I'm visiting GameSpot.

I don't know about you but never have I been so accustomed to a website and its community.

I check out the forums nearly every single day and while it's true that I don't post as much as I did before, I still feel that I need to get updates from my friends (You!) here on GameSpot, as much as I need to on Facebook.

When I originally signed up, I never thought I would stay active for so long and thanks to you!

Amazing! Best game I've ever played... So far!

Not necessarily the best graphics I've ever seen, not even the best sound effects I've ever heard and certainly not the best game-play mechanics in a game, but as a whole it delivers a unique and thrilling experience!
You know a game is a great game when you enjoy it, right? Well, out of my collection of favourite games, I've, without the slightest doubt in my mind, enjoyed it most. Surely, not every single second of the game is interesting but then again, overall, it's awesome!
It's epic, it's a masterpiece and it's MGS4: Guns of the Patriots!

My first impressions of what appears to be a very good game...

No, not Mass Effect but close; Perry Rhodan. Still in the sci-fi category, this game seems to be very promising and indeed, it features very good graphics and no, not by Crysis standards.

I can't tell you much as I've only played it a couple of hours and in case you're wondering, no, I haven't heard of Perry Rhodan before and yet, I'm pretty impressed so far!

So, fans of the adventure genre, check this game out!

I know... You expected a review so here it is and it's from Hexus.

Enjoy and lead good lives! ;)

Really, it's hard to believe that Assassin's Creed is finally out for the PC!

Well, my blog posts were more or less centered on that! Now, it's out... :|

Honestly, I was thrilled the very first time I've tried it! Woohoo! You want to know how the game is? So, check out the reviews but only the good ones though, not the ones like mine! :D

Look at Altair! He's just so confident about the fate of Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition that he immediately performs a leap of faith onto the PC! Hope he doesn't die though because the PC platform is a tough one just as it is the best one! :P

I hate bugs!

But I love my monitor! Those two, however, met yesterday! Yes, those damn bugs flew onto my screen and needless to mention that I hate people touching my screen and now what? Damn bugs!

P.S. Kill those flying insects for me! Oh and by the way, this is a useless blog! :D

Finally!

So Ubisoft has read my previous blog! :P

Anyway, I'm sure those reading this blog will be as happy as I am... What? You still don't know what I'm talking about? Well, Ubi has finally confirmed that AC is coming out on PC at the end of March. Furthermore, it'll feature four new types of investigations and possibly more but don't expect too much out of it!

:D So now, I'll probably stop posting blogs about AC until, of course, the release! Don't miss my future (Exceptionally biased :P) review of Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition! ;)
