I've played WoW, and I'm used to having a continual world to explore. Basically, large areas to explore, that you can go back to anytime you want, even if you don't get experience for killing the things.

I'm looking to start up with Everquest 2, and I'd like to know how open the areas are. I know there are load screens and what not, and I've played the game up to some cave area (having just beat some forest area). I got off of the starting island. And from what I could tell, the game felt like you were beating levels rather than playing in a fantasy world. Someone in the game told me it opens up after the cave area.

Question being: Does everquest 2 ever open up to the point where you feel you are playing in another world - or does it always feel like you are beating levels and moving on to the next, never to see the places you've been again.

Good ol' runescape. It might keep you busy for a summer.

My favorite completely free one: Tibia. It takes time to get used to, but has great role playing and exploring.

And if you are willing to buy a game, but not have to spend monthly, you should try Diablo 2, and guildwars. Although, I'd recommend diablo over guildwars, even with the lesser graphics. You can't beat taking out a mass of battle cows with one click ;p

[QUOTE="ninjaxams"]Seriously, I can't play it anymore. I've played through it twice to get achievments and I bored with it. I can't get into the MP either... Do any of you feel this way?ACESandElGHTS

Yes.  Single player was too short.  Multiplayer was too gay.

Gotta love this guys point of view and way of expression. Not being sarcastic either.

Resident Evil 1 and 2 FTW

Resident Evil 2 was so spanking awesome that it basically split the awesome into two games. That game placed in me all I think about when I think about zombies. Superb.

Also, I got some free gamer pics from playing certain games. I think xbox magazine's demo discs sometimes have ways to unlock some. And I remember getting some from perfect dark.

Sounds to me like the disc isn't catching at first and it makes the noise as a result. The disc holder isn't fitting the disc perfectly so it winds around the center plastic hole until it catches. Just an idea though - not sure.

I think you have to get into that school of magic place in that main town (I would be more specific but i haven't played in a while). To get into it you have to go to all the other smaller towns and finish the quests in the mage guild things. Also, i think this took me a couple of days. But, once you get into it you can even enchant your own items and weapons! You don't have to be a mage to do it though, just do the little quests in each town.
