Does Zelda A Link to the Past for the GBA use a battery to save?

hydralisk86

Yes, it does. The SNES original had one too.

Unless you've played the game to death I don't believe it's worth missing out on just because of the battery's assumed lifespan. It'll last you 10-20 years easy. I got SNES games with battery packs that still work 20 years later.

I think the thread's title is clear enough. Why do you go back to the 8/16/32 and 128-bit eras' games? In my case, I do so because I wanna experience the games I missed out on at the time and are worth it IMO. There's only a couple legacy games I'd replay these days.

I sadly don't have the time nor the interest to replay games as a hobby anymore. Just killing time for the most part.

So I started Shadow The Hedgehog and got 4 endings outta 10 up to now. However, I'm playing it with a gameshark due to how frustratingly difficult it gets because of its poor design and unpolished nature. Story's interesting enough, though I don't get how all 10 endings will come together in the end to form the true last stage in the game. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Please don't spoil.

The game just further proves the point I'm making in the OP. Unless you're a Sonic completist like myself, avoid at all costs.

This is related to what is arguably my favorite game of all time. So I'll just leave this here:

One of the story accounts that fuels the false "Anti-2D" policy is that the main reason behind Megaman X4's delayed release on PSX in the US is how Sony US refused to localize the game on the console due to its lack of 3D gameplay. Sony reportedly caved in after Capcom retaliated by threatening to not release Resident Evil 2 on the PSX.

I got the game on Saturn so I enjoyed it for over a year of 100+ playthroughs unaffected LOL! Good ol' days. Whenever I had a couple of hours to spare I'd just pop it in until a couple years ago.

I'm an RPG gamer and I hate Demon Souls and its sequel.

After beating it, I can understand why it was rated 7.5 . But then again it's Tom's personal opinion and eveybody has one.

LOL! @ the riot caused by a game review score. You'd think a convicted guilty murderer was set free or something. Those who attack Tom on a personal level really need to grow up IMO.

Well, why are you so against the idea that XC are a good starter JRPG?

Or that people are hyping it?

JLF1MarkII

Why are you being so defensive over a game? I disagree with your opinion, so what?

To answer your question, I don't believe it's a pick-up-&-play kinda RPG. Nor does it have the charm to appeal broadly.

e.g. Paper Mario has Mario. Kingdom Hearts has Disney.

lol Nintendo is being really up front about the game's selling points. They might as well have said "This is practically Final Fantasy, people."

Pixel-Perfect

It's called advertising. Movies do the same. I don't see what's so surprising.
