This may not be on topic, but I can't help with but agree with a point made by Tom Chick about how the First-Person view kills a bit of the impact the storytelling attempts.

As a story, the problems go deeper than the engine. The story is based on characters that we, the players, the audience, should probably be watching. The identity mysteries of the previous Bioshocks were perfectly served by their mute and faceless protagonists.

But Bioshock Infinite attempts an Uncharted style relationship between two characters. It doesnt work as well as it needs to. Booker DeWitt, ably if also unremarkably acted by Troy Baker, would be a fine figure in a novel or a movie. But in a game driven by his relationship with Elizabeth, Bioshock Infinite snags on the issue of a third-person protagonist in a first-person game. What does Booker look like? How does he feel? How is he reacting to what Elizabeth tells him? What does he do when I press X to comfort Elizabeth?

Is there any subtext when he makes a choice? How do they look at each other? Does he smile? An actors face belongs here. There isnt one.DarkLink77

Now, there has been some well told stories in FPS's such as both games in The Darkness series (though Kirk Acevedo and Brian Bloom were leaps and bounds above Troy Baker's work). I just wonder how Infinite's story would have played out had the cutscenes been in shot in the third-person perspective.

I also agree with the OP on the gameplay. It can get a bit too chaotic for it's own good, especially in the outdoor areas.

Troy Baker's work in everything is amazing. :|

Fixed. How anyone can call Booker's voice unremarkable is amazing,

Steam is a major competitor for M$ and Sony.It's probrably the #3 reason why people stay on PC's.

If it went on consoles it'd be lke Wendy's allowing Five Guys to sell their food there.

After watching the Frieza fights side by side, I much prefer the Kai version. The music was better ( it fit the mood more) , the animation was better, the voice acting wasn't as grating as the original, and no fillers, thank God. It wasn't until the Cell saga where the original became amazing. Until that moment, Kai is just better.

I refuse to believe this is real. M$ knows the market well, and they've seen what happened with Sony's "599 US DOLLERS". If these rumors turn out to be true, M$ just lost a ****-ton of money before it was  even announced.

[QUOTE="jessejay420"][QUOTE="Stringerboy"]

Is that why my first playthrough took me 4 hours and 50 minutes on Normal? Face it, the campaign is horribly short even for Halo standards.

Stringerboy

You play halo on normal? Bwahahahaha!!! :lol:

First time yes just to experience the game. Then I play on legendary for the next playthrough.

Don't you have to finish hard mode first to unlock Legendary? Or do you just have to beat the game?
